More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager for SMBs at Wise North America, you will be the dedicated owner of our North American business / SMB strategy. You will move us beyond simple transactions to provide a comprehensive, everyday account proposition that solves real-world challenges for the 33.3 million US small businesses.

You will be a "mini-CEO" of the SMB product line, with the autonomy to build a vision and roadmap that spans the next 12-24 months. You will work within the NorthAm squad structure, influencing both regional and global product teams to execute on a roadmap that unlocks new revenue lines such as SMB credit, working capital, and supplier/contractor onboarding, with the intent to grow our market share significantly.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Voice of the Customer: Run ongoing qualitative research (customer interviews, UX sessions, etc.) specific to US SMBs. You will launch and manage a Customer Advisory Council to validate hypotheses and confirm roadmap plans.

  • Develop the Strategy: Create a 12-24 month roadmap to enhance the US Business Account proposition and drive our growth to being a formidable player in the Small and Medium Business Segment.

  • Drive Execution: Ship features by working with multiple regional and global product teams. You will own the end-to-end success of the business segment, influencing global teams to build functionality that materially impacts NorthAm customers.

  • Be Data-Driven: Define key metrics, measure the impact of your work, and use an analytical mindset to make informed decisions in a fast-moving environment. You will be responsible for driving and advocating for price drops and optimizations by partnering with global Pricing and Finance teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of driving growth in fintech, neobanking, or SaaS for small businesses.

  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of the US neobank/fintech competitive landscape (e.g., Mercury, Relay, BlueVine) and how to translate those moves into implications for Wise.

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to build a defensible product roadmap and ‘front load’ the analysis work required to get complex features to a "dev-ready" state.

  • High Agency: A 'founder’s mentality' with the drive to identify obstacles, create solutions independently, and own outcomes from conception through to full execution.

  • Stakeholder Management: A clear and logical communicator who can effectively influence global and regional product teams, engineering, compliance, and marketing without necessarily having a dedicated engineering squad reporting directly to you.

  • Bias for Action: A hands-on, proactive mindset. You are comfortable working cross-functionally to unblock product shipping and are passionate about solving the "unsolved" problems in our SMB segment

  • Mission Alignment: A genuine passion for Wise's mission of making money without borders.
