The mission
Construction impacts the lives of nearly everyone in the world, yet it remains one of the least digitised industries on earth. Managing project documentation consistently, securely, and at scale is one of its most persistent unsolved problems. That's why we're looking for a Product Manager to join Procore's Document Management team.
Procore is building the software that builds the world, and Document Management defines what a True Common Data Environment (CDE) looks like for enterprise construction. We're not moving files to the cloud, we're building a platform that provides digital continuity across the full project lifecycle, connecting the right information to the right people at the right time.
The role
We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Document Management team. You'll partner with engineering, UX design, and product marketing to build workflows that support the complete information lifecycle, turning complex enterprise requirements into seamless, intuitive experiences. If you have a passion for solving large-scale data problems and want to build software that shapes the physical world, we'd love to hear from you.
This position reports to the Director of Product for Document Management and will be based in our Austin, TX office.
What you'll do:
Deliver Document Management features end-to-end from, discovery through launch, owning the full product lifecycle for your area of focus within the team
Write clear, precise product requirements and acceptance criteria that set your engineering team up to build with confidence and without ambiguity
Lead end-user customer conversations, synthesise findings, and translate them into well-grounded product decisions
Collaborate with engineering and design to navigate technical constraints and UX trade-offs, shipping solutions that are powerful and intuitive for enterprise users
Maintain a healthy, well-prioritised backlog and manage competing stakeholder demands with a clear rationale
Support go-to-market launches with product marketing and enablement, ensuring customers can adopt what we ship
Track post-launch adoption and use data to inform iteration and roadmap decisions
Develop a working knowledge of how enterprise construction customers use document management platforms and the standards that govern them
What we're looking for:
3+ years of product management experience, with meaningful hands-on experience in B2B or enterprise SaaS
Strong requirements craft: precise, well-structured, and unambiguous, your engineering partners can build from what you write without needing to come back for clarification
Comfortable in technical conversations, data modelling, system architecture, and scalability trade-offs don't need to be translated for you
A patient, systematic approach to complex product problems; you understand that enterprise customers have real constraints and you design solutions that meet them where they are
Confident leading customer discovery, you can synthesise what you hear and turn it into actionable product insight
Strong communicator who works well across engineering, design, and go-to-market, and surfaces blockers early rather than absorbing them silently
Interest in the AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) industry is a plus, but not a prerequisite
