FloSports is a world-class sports media company strategically positioned to be the essential  destination for passionate sports fans, delighting them with live event coverage, breaking news,  highlights, stats, rankings, and team and player profiles. We are growing Our Sports every day  by continuing to invest in our ever-expanding ecosystem, which consists of over a dozen sport  verticals and hundreds of streaming partners. FloSports is creating the home for college  conferences/leagues and sports like grappling, hockey, track & field, racing, cheer, wrestling,  and more, and we are looking for innovative and passionate people like you to help us! 

THE ROLE: 

FloSports is looking for a highly collaborative and execution-oriented Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs that support the company’s growth and operational evolution. Based in Austin, Texas, this role reports to the Director of Business Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Manage New Sport Vertical Launches

  • Lead the end-to-end program for launching new sports verticals, from pre-launch program design and planning through launch and post-launch growth.

  • Coordinate the commercial, operational, technical, production, partner, content, marketing, and customer-experience components of each launch.

  • Build and maintain an integrated roadmap for planned and potential vertical launches.

  • Lead post-launch reviews and incorporate lessons learned into FloSports’ vertical-launch framework.

Lead Technology and Operational Transformation Programs

  • Lead cross-functional programs that introduce new technology, workflows, or operating models into FloSports’ business.

  • Support initiatives centered around new content-capture models, partner production technology, remote production capabilities, workflow automation, and operational tooling.

  • Develop phased implementation plans that may include product development, pilots, field testing, partner onboarding, training, deployment, and ongoing support.

  • Ensure new capabilities are operationally supportable, scalable, and aligned with the customer and partner experience.

  • Coordinate change-management activities to drive adoption, clarify new responsibilities, and transition programs into sustainable business operations.

Coordinate Merger and Acquisition programs

  • Lead cross-functional due diligence across internal business units and senior external stakeholders (e.g., advisors, legal counsel, target leadership) to audit risk profiles, uncover operational dependencies, and evaluate target synergies.

  • Establish and implement scalable integration frameworks, governance structures, and playbooks that standardize post-merger execution and executive reporting.

  • Own Day 1 readiness plans including orchestrating workstream execution and communications to guarantee seamless business continuity upon deal close.

  • Drive post-merger synergy realization, tracking critical-path dependencies, operational efficiencies, and integration KPIs to ensure full capture of deal value.

Apply Data and Financial Rigor

  • Build and maintain program budgets, forecasts, business cases, and financial models in partnership with Finance and functional leaders.

  • Evaluate potential initiatives using cost-benefit, ROI, scenario, sensitivity, and capacity analyses.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into financial performance, operational readiness, delivery progress, and business results.

  • Ensure decisions and executive recommendations are supported by reliable data, explicit assumptions, and a clear understanding of financial tradeoffs.

Drive Accountability, Decisions, and Communication

  • Align cross-functional teams around priorities, responsibilities, deliverables, and decision ownership.

  • Facilitate difficult decisions when teams face competing priorities, timelines, or resource constraints.

  • Identify risks and dependencies early, drive mitigation plans, and escalate unresolved issues with clear options and recommendations.

  • Provide concise, decision-oriented updates to executives and stakeholders on program health, milestones, budgets, risks, and required actions.

  • Maintain clear documentation of key decisions, commitments, and assumptions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, strategy and operations, consulting, media operations, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs from planning through implementation across commercial, technical, creative, financial, and operational teams.

  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive accountability without direct authority.

  • Experience managing roadmaps, budgets, dependencies, risks, and executive communications.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using KPIs to guide decisions. Ability to translate data into clear business insights, decisions, and recommendations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A hands-on approach and willingness to move between strategic planning and detailed execution.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including financial modeling, data manipulation, and executive-ready reporting.

  • Experience working with business-intelligence platforms (Domo, Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc)

BONUS

  • Experience in streaming media, live sports, digital media, entertainment, or subscription businesses.

  • Familiarity with sports-rights partnerships, live production, video technology, or direct-to-consumer platforms.

  • Experience designing pilots and scaling successful technology or operational programs.

  • Experience working with external technology vendors or production partners.

  • Experience within Growth-stage companies
