Job Description Summary

The Project Manager provides full services project management experience to designated projects and assignments for client accounts through interaction with Cushman & Wakefield (CW) colleagues as well as owners, managers, consultants, vendors, building and/or facility management teams and other members of extended project teams.
The Project Manager monitors and coordinates the execution of the various services, processes and execution relating to client contracted agreements for project and construction management. These services may apply to full-service agreements managing project teams through various phases of each project. Phases managed may include site due diligence, preliminary budgets and scheduling, feasibility studies, test fits, design, permitting, bidding, construction administration, FF&E and close out documentation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will team with CW’s Senior Project Managers and/or CW Market Lead as applicable for each assignment on delivering the following:


  • Develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are established, communications and tracked throughout the course of the assignment.
  • Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing review summaries for clients, property/facility management team, and project team (as applicable) at conceptual, schematic, design development and construction phases of project.
  • Assist in the RFP process, review of proposals, make recommendation for selection, participate in the the contracting process, oversight of consultants and construction teams.
  • Review invoices, pay applications, requisitions, change orders and add services requests associated with the project, summarize and make recommendations to the client and property management on costs and impacts.
  • Prepare and publish agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Review and adhere to CW policy, CW client agreements, as well as applicable corporate, building, and client policies, lease terms, work letters and procedures.
  • Support the marketing of services to clients as requested and participate in pursuing new project awards as part of the CW team.
  • Coordinate with CW Colleagues, and the full project team in understanding and achieving goals and objectives as to quality, service, cost and target profit.
  • Report and, make recommendations to CW Market Lead, concerns related to delays and/or risks observed which may impact CW and/or our clients in achieving established goals for each project.
  • Raise issues for review and obtain reviews/approvals from the appropriate members of CW management regarding potential changes or actions that may require additional CW or client expenditures in excess of approved schedule, budget and fees.
  • Be aware of, monitor and adhere to applicable governing regulations, codes, safety regulations, PPE, inspections, etc.
  • Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards of work performance.
  • Consistently demonstrate the initiative to improve skills and work knowledge.

Education

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar industry preferred

Important Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ related project management or construction management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in position of accountability.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ of supervisory experience, in a project management capacity.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 102,000.00 - $120,000.00
