Open Application Overview

We’re always excited to connect with exceptional people here at Unit 410 — because we believe in growing a strong team by building relationships before we need to hire.

If you're excited about what we're building, we'd love to get to know you — whether the timing is right today, or months from now.

This is a special team, made up of folks who have worked on some of the world’s most high-impact technologies, at places like NASA, Google, Coinbase, and Twitter.

We're frequently the team powering the “next big thing” in crypto. We support large, early holders on networks and work directly with founders and CTOs. Peers often look to us as industry leaders.

As a member of the Unit 410 team, you will enjoy autonomy and be encouraged to lean into intellectual curiosity. Your work here can make an impact not just on the company, but often across the broader crypto industry.

Tell us what drives you — the hard problems you can’t stop thinking about, the impact you’re hungry to make. If your ambition aligns, we’ll find a way to build together.

Role Overview

As a Protocol Specialist, you’ll spot what’s next before it’s obvious — and help turn it into something real. You’ll dive into emerging networks, decode where the opportunity lies, coordinate with leading crypto-forward institutions and other sophisticated clients and protocol teams, and work side-by-side with protocol leadership and our deeply technical team to support new opportunities — fast and early.

The most common theme across the projects we take on is novelty, supported by our technical ability to work at a scale and pace that few others can. This generates incredible opportunities and you’ll have a front row seat to the future of cryptocurrency – whatever that may be.

If you’ve ever dissected a bridge, poked around validator code, or found insights in a spec doc — this is where you scale that curiosity into impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support Clients — Work directly with institutions and other sophisticated clients engaging with new networks — reducing pain points, identifying risk, and fostering smooth, scalable experiences.

  • Ship With Engineers — Partner with Unit 410’s engineering teams to build and ship infrastructure that supports participation in emerging protocols.

  • Discover New Opportunities — Surface novel ways to support our clients, add value, and drive impact across the protocols we’re supporting… before others do, and with researched insights to back your decisions.

  • Engage Communities — Get into the trenches with new networks and their communities. Understand their goals, build trust, and aim for long-term success.

Who You Are
  • Collaborative to the Core — You know how to get things done across teams, orgs, and ecosystems. Whether it’s engineers, institutions, or protocol communities, you’re the connective tissue that makes complex coordination feel seamless.

  • Sharp & Disruptive — You spot what others miss. Your instincts are analytical, but your edge comes from seeing around corners and turning unconventional insights into action.

  • A Clear Thinker — You synthesize signals from noise and get everyone on the same page fast. Whether it's messy data or competing incentives, you’re great at translating chaos into clarity.

  • Crypto Maximalist — You explore the edges of what’s possible — tinkering with new networks, discovering opportunities, and digging through docs before the mainstream realizes they exist. You're not just in crypto — you get it.

Bonus Points
  • Experience in Sales Engineering or Technical Account Management

  • Hands-on experience with L1s and L2s — building, participating, or analyzing.

  • Published deep-dives, research, or commentary on protocols or blockchain tech.

  • Skilled in parsing on-chain data for real insights.

Tech Stack & Tooling
