As a Relationship Executive within the Diversified Industries team, you will focus on subsectors including, but not limited to, Capital Goods, Transportation, Logistics, and Heavy Equipment. 

 

You will partner across the firm with local bankers, investment bankers, and our Financial Sponsors team to identify new opportunities and expand existing relationships.  Bankers operate both independently and collaboratively to introduce the bank’s full suite of capabilities to clients. In this role, you are accountable for originating, growing, and retaining profitable client relationships within the Commercial and Specialized Industries target universe.

 

Our Bankers are required to have deep working knowledge of our solutions including, but not limited to: Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Syndicated Finance, Commercial Card and Chase Paymentech Solutions. Our strongest Bankers have a methodical approach to the market activity and prospecting. We deliver locally and therefore our ideal candidate develops deep connections and market knowledge within their territory. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset
  • Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
  • Find ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies 
  • Provide proactive coverage of a National territory
  • Partner with colleagues within the Commercial Bank as a Discipline banker
  • Become the industry expert within the Business Service industry 
  • Actively partner across lines of business including but not limited to: Investment Banking, Syndicated Finance, Asset Based Lending and Direct Lending 

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 8 plus years’ direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
  • FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
  • Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
