Position Summary

The Reports and Analytics Functional Analyst supports the OneStream implementation by helping design, map, validate, and test reporting solutions needed for agency financial management, period-end processing, and external reporting. This role works closely with finance, accounting, functional, data, and technical teams to translate reporting requirements into functional designs and ensure reports are accurate, complete, traceable, and usable. The role supports reporting readiness across core implementation activities, including cube view creation, report validation, GTAS-related outputs, user testing, documentation handoff, agency certification, and post-go-live stabilization.

Partner with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to define report purpose, logic, filters, hierarchies, layouts, and drill-down requirements.

Translate reporting needs into functional specifications and coordinate with technical resources on configuration and build activities.

Validate data mappings, account relationships, metadata, TAS/USSGL-related structures, and source-to-report alignment to help ensure reliable outputs.

Perform report testing, reconciliations, and defect identification to confirm completeness, accuracy, and consistency of outputs across source data, OneStream, and downstream reporting needs.

Support development of report inventories, specifications, test scripts, validation evidence, and deployment documentation.

Identify reporting gaps, data quality issues, mapping defects, and control considerations that could affect reporting reliability or certification readiness.

Support UAT, user confirmation testing, training readiness, and go-live preparation for reporting capabilities.

Assist during stabilization by troubleshooting reporting issues, refining outputs, and supporting documentation handoff to sustainment teams.

Required Qualifications

Strong understanding of federal financial reporting structures, reconciliations, metadata, source-to-report mapping, and report validation.

Ability to translate business and accounting reporting requirements into functional specifications and testable reporting logic.

Working knowledge of federal reporting constructs such as trial balances, financial statements, notes support, abnormal balances, and GTAS-related outputs is preferred.

Strong coordination skills across finance, accounting, data, and technical teams.

Strong documentation skills for report inventories, specifications, validation results, and knowledge transfer materials.

Ability to support cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
