The Sales and Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting sales and business development through reporting, forecasting, pipeline management, CRM data governance, and process optimization. This role will work closely with Sales, Business Development, Finance, and Executive Management to ensure accurate visibility into pipeline health, bookings, forecasts, and key performance metrics. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming complex datasets into meaningful business insights, building scalable reporting systems, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, naturally curious, and enjoys solving business problems through data.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance sales dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
  • Analyze and monitor pipeline, bookings, forecasts, and sales performance to identify risks, improve forecast accuracy, and support executive decision making.
  • Maintain CRM data integrity by monitoring data quality, establishing governance standards, and ensuring consistent opportunity management practices.
  • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasting and pipeline review processes through reporting, analysis, and data validation.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Business Development, and Finance to develop reporting that supports strategic planning and executive decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline workflows, and improve sales operations processes through technology and process enhancements.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, customer opportunities, pricing decisions, and business planning activities.
  • Assist with CRM administration, report development, dashboard enhancements, and user adoption initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements, standardize business metrics, and improve organizational efficiency.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy through ongoing data validation, reconciliation, and continuous process improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Financial Analysis, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, and data modeling.
  • Advanced Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, report development, dashboard design, and automated reporting.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Acumatica, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
  • Experience supporting sales forecasting, pipeline management, KPI reporting, and business performance analysis.
  • Ability to identify data inconsistencies, improve data quality, and implement reporting best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
