Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Automation Energy Industries function in Houston Texas region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Developing comprehensive techno-commercial proposals for complex electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for electrical integration projects
  • Developing integrated solutions including Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, capacitor banks, busduct systems, Variable Speed Drives (VSD), HVAC systems, and electrical/automation buildings (e-houses)
  • Supporting conceptual and preliminary design of electrical and automation buildings
  • Performing detailed cost estimation and pricing including equipment costs, building and integration costs, engineering and project execution costs
  • Developing competitive pricing strategies aligned with market conditions and margin targets
  • Engaging with suppliers for RFQs, technical alignment, and competitive pricing
  • Evaluating and negotiating supplier quotations and Terms & Conditions
  • Developing and maintain standard proposal templates, tools, and methodologies

Qualifications for the role:

  • A Bachelor of Science in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred
  • 8 or more years of experience with bids and proposals on system integration offerings
  • 4 or more years of technical and product knowledge
  • Experience with MV/LV switchgear, power distribution systems, and e-house/modular substation design
  • Experience with contract and risk management, and regulation and legal compliance
  • Demonstrated experience in executing a successful Go-to Market strategy
  • General knowledge of Solution/Applications sales engineering
  • Demonstrated record of success meeting budget and performance targets.
  • You hold current Business visa valid in USA or having permanent residency or citizenship
