Our Business Applications team builds and maintains systems used across the company, including Sales, Marketing, Support, and Finance. We are seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our team to improve the efficiency, stability, and scalability of our Salesforce delivery pipelines and environments.

In this role, you will own and operate the DevOps lifecycle for our Salesforce platform, supporting continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), version control, automated testing, and release management. You will also support core Salesforce Administration needs including user access, permission sets, data management, and configuration tasks across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. You’ll partner with developers, admins, architects, and business stakeholders to streamline operations and accelerate delivery of value.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes and tooling for Salesforce, including CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows

  • Manage deployment automation tools such as Copado or custom solutions involving GitHub for version control, metadata deployment, and rollback

  • Own and manage Salesforce sandboxes, scratch orgs, and environment strategy, ensuring integrity and alignment across dev, test, staging, and production

  • Collaborate with developers and admins to manage branching strategies, peer reviews, test automation, and release readiness processes

  • Perform Salesforce administrative tasks such as user management, permission sets, profiles, configuration, and data imports/exports

  • Support security, compliance, and audit efforts by maintaining accurate access controls and deployment logs

  • Partner with Salesforce architects and developers to evolve DevOps maturity, enforce best practices, and drive release quality

  • Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and dashboards to improve visibility and reduce friction across release cycles

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues related to deployments or environment health

  • Assist in platform upgrades, integrations, and third-party app management as needed

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience, with at least 2 years in a Salesforce DevOps Engineer or Release Manager role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experienc

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, packaging, and deployment methodologies

  • Proficient in Git, GitHub or Bitbucket, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Gearset, Copado, or Flosum

  • Familiar with Salesforce administration including roles, profiles, permission sets, flows, and declarative tools

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with familiarity in Jira, Confluence, and sprint planning

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; able to troubleshoot deployment failures and environment issues

  • Effective communicator who can translate technical concepts into business-friendly language

  • Passionate about automation, continuous improvement, and scalable systems

  • Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, DevOps, or Deployment Specialist certifications are a plus

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience)

  • Familiarity with SFDX, unlocked packages, and second-generation packaging (2GP)

  • Exposure to Salesforce DX CLI and scripting tools

  • Knowledge of ITSM practices and tools

  • Experience integrating DevOps tools with test automation suites for Salesforce

(Pay Transparency Range: $92,000.00 - $156,000.00)

The exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
