Construction is the 2nd largest industry in the world (4x the size of SaaS!). But unlike software (with observability platforms such as AppDynamics and Datadog), construction teams lack automated feedback loops to help projects stay on schedule and on budget.  Without this observability, construction wastes a whopping $3T per year because glitches aren’t detected fast enough to recover.

Doxel AI exists to bring computer vision to construction, so the industry can deliver what society needs to thrive. From hospitals to data centers, from foreman to VPs of construction, teams use Doxel to make better decisions everyday. In fact, Doxel has contributed to the construction of the facilities that provide many of the products and services you use everyday.

We’re at an exciting stage of scale as we build upon our growing market momentum. Our software is trusted by Shell Oil, Genentech, HCA healthcare, Kaiser, Turner, Layton and several others. Join us in bringing AI to construction!

The Role

The Sales Development Manager at Doxel will lead and elevate a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for generating qualified pipeline across enterprise construction owners and general contractors. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution—focusing on continuous refinement and scalability of an already strong outbound engine to further improve the consistency and predictability of pipeline generation for the Enterprise Sales team.

You will hire, coach, and develop SDR talent while strengthening the systems, messaging, targeting, and operating rhythms that underpin our success. You will focus on reducing variability, tightening execution standards, and ensuring that performance scales efficiently as the business grows. This includes leveraging data to fine-tune funnel metrics, improve signal quality, and reinforce repeatable best practices across the team.

Success in this role means taking a high-performing pipeline engine and making it more durable, scalable, and forecastable—where inputs reliably translate into high-quality opportunities and predictable revenue impact. You will partner closely with Sales and RevOps to enhance visibility, maintain rigor in qualification standards, and ensure our outbound motion continues to mature alongside Doxel’s enterprise growth.

Your impact will directly support sustainable revenue expansion and strengthen confidence in forward-looking pipeline performance as Doxel expands its footprint across the $16T construction industry.

Location: This role will be based in Austin, Texas.

Your Day to Day

  • Hire, onboard, and ramp SDRs with a focus on maintaining high performance standards and accelerating time-to-productivity

  • Coach team members through structured call reviews, pipeline inspections, role-play, and weekly 1:1s to reinforce best practices and reduce performance variability

  • Continuously refine outbound targeting, sequencing, and messaging to increase efficiency, conversion rates, and signal quality within our enterprise motion

  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to strengthen lead routing, qualification rigor, and funnel visibility—improving the predictability of pipeline outcomes

  • Monitor and analyze pipeline metrics including activity levels, meetings set, opportunity creation, and pipeline quality to identify optimization opportunities

  • Enhance tooling, automation, and enablement programs to improve scalability, productivity, and data integrity as the team grows

  • Elevate operating rhythms and performance management to ensure consistent execution and durable results across the SDR team

  • Develop clear career paths and promotion plans to grow SDRs into AEs and future sales leaders, strengthening the long-term health of the sales organization

What Success Looks Like

    Short Term (0–6 Months)

  • SDR team consistently meets or exceeds meeting and qualified opportunity creation targets with low performance variability across reps

  • Outbound messaging, targeting, and sequencing are sharpened and tightly aligned to our ICP and enterprise sales motion

  • Funnel definitions and qualification standards are consistently applied, improving signal quality and Sales trust in SDR-generated pipeline

  • Pipeline reporting is clean, reliable, and transparent—enabling accurate visibility into activity, conversion rates, and forward-looking pipeline contribution

  • Mid Term (6–12 Months)

  • A highly predictable, repeatable pipeline engine that consistently contributes a meaningful share of new ARR pipeline

  • Improved conversion efficiency and reduced volatility across key funnel stages

  • Clear performance benchmarks that translate activity inputs into forecastable pipeline outputs

  • Strong team engagement and retention, with at least one SDR promoted into a closing or leadership role

  • Lead an outbound motion that scales efficiently as hiring increases, without degradation in pipeline quality or predictability

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or inside sales within B2B SaaS

  • 2+ years managing SDR or BDR teams in a high-growth startup environment

  • Proven track record of improving team performance through data-driven coaching and funnel optimization

  • Experience operating within an established outbound motion and increasing predictability of pipeline generation

  • Strong analytical skills with fluency in pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and forecasting inputs
