Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Finance Analytics to join our Finance Analytics team within Procore’s Finance, Strategy, and Operations (FSO) organization. In this highly critical and visible role, you’ll transform complex data into meaningful insights that empower our organization and executives to make strategic decisions.

As a Senior Analyst, Finance Analytics, you’ll partner with FSO stakeholders as well as cross-functional teams in GTM, Product, and Engineering to deliver trusted data products and insights that drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency. You’ll work at the intersection of finance, analytics, and business intelligence to develop models that provide insight into our customers, optimize financial forecasting, and enable teams to execute. 

This position will report to our Manager, Finance Analytics and can work remotely from any US location or in one of Procore’s US-based locations. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Architect, build, and maintain foundational models to consume, transform, and expose data to stakeholders across Procore’s Finance, Strategy, and Operations (FSO) organization

  • Ensure bookings and other financial data is accurate, congruent, and reliable, and ensure the information is readily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems

  • Develop self-service tooling that standardize finance concepts to provide teams with real-time visibility into the business

  • Support critical corporate reporting materials for our Board of Directors, Quarterly Financial Reviews, and Investor Day

  • Partner with Data Engineers to maintain the data platform, monitor testing, and establish new data pipelines

  • Collaborate with other analytics teams to build scalable data models, optimize processes, and create meaningful reporting tools 

  • Independently lead initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation, and presentation of findings to all levels of management

  • Implement data governance processes through documentation, observability, and controls

What we're looking for:

  • 4+ years of work experience in data analytics or analytics engineering role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (e.g., Economics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or specialized training/certification); or equivalent work experience

  • Fluent in SQL with a solid understanding of database design and modeling best practices, including version control and modeling software such as dbt and GitHub. Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools preferred

  • Strong perspective on analytics development cycle (data modeling, version control, documentation + testing, best practices for codebase development)

  • Inquisitive mindset with a drive to make connections between financial, operational, and product data

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work through ambiguity with a strong ownership mindset

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present strong data-driven storylines and content to both general and senior audiences

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $111,760 - $153,670. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
