As a Senior Revenue Accounting Systems & Automation Analyst at Genesys, you will shape how the organization uses systems, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to improve reporting quality, strengthen controls, and reduce manual effort.

You will partner with Revenue Accounting, Finance Systems, IT, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and other Finance teams to improve data accessibility, simplify processes, resolve systemic issues, and build scalable reporting and monitoring capabilities. Your work will help Revenue Accounting identify issues earlier, make better-informed decisions, and operate effectively as transaction volumes, data complexity, and business needs evolve.

This role also offers direct exposure to enterprise finance and technology initiatives, including opportunities to expand expertise in AI-enabled accounting, automation, data architecture, and platform optimization. At Genesys, collaboration, empathy for customers and colleagues, and ambitious thinking guide how teams solve complex problems and create better experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end development and enhancement of revenue accounting reports, dashboards, analytics, and data models that improve recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and decision-making
  • Drive automation and process simplification initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve scalability, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency across Revenue Accounting
  • Partner with Revenue Accounting stakeholders to translate complex accounting and business requirements into scalable system, reporting, data, and automation solutions
  • Lead the design and implementation of practical AI-enabled solutions for reporting, analysis, documentation, reconciliations, and process support, incorporating appropriate governance and human oversight
  • Design and optimize Tableau Cloud dashboards and Tableau Prep workflows that improve reporting consistency, transparency, usability, and access to revenue data
  • Analyze revenue-related data across Snowflake and other sources to reconcile information between systems, identify anomalies and root causes, and improve data quality and decision support
  • Develop advanced Excel models and analytical tools where they provide business value while reducing unnecessary reliance on manually maintained spreadsheets
  • Drive enhancements across Salesforce, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, and related revenue data flows to improve system performance, data integrity, and end-to-end accounting processes
  • Influence strategy and execution across Revenue Accounting, Finance Systems, IT, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Finance by aligning stakeholders on sustainable solutions to complex data and process challenges
  • Develop repeatable exception reporting and monitoring capabilities that enable earlier issue detection, proactive investigation, and more reliable revenue accounting processes
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate generative AI, automation, and emerging technology use cases that expand the analytical and operational capabilities of Revenue Accounting
  • Document processes, data flows, business requirements, system logic, controls, and automated workflows to support operational continuity, governance, and audit readiness

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting processes, and revenue-related business processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex financial and operational data across multiple enterprise systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise, including complex formulas, pivot tables, large dataset analysis, financial modeling, and efficient spreadsheet design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including experience investigating complex issues, identifying root causes, and developing practical solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, analytics, automation, finance systems, or process improvement initiatives
  • Proven ability to translate accounting and business requirements into scalable reporting, data, automation, or system solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex initiatives from problem identification and requirements definition through implementation and adoption
  • Strong background in data integrity, financial controls, process documentation, governance, and auditability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across Accounting, Finance, Systems, Data, and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, or comparable enterprise billing and revenue platforms
  • Experience using Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms to analyze, reconcile, and investigate complex financial datasets
  • Experience developing Tableau Cloud dashboards and Tableau Prep workflows or using comparable business intelligence and data preparation tools
  • Experience applying automation, generative AI, or other emerging technologies to finance, accounting, reporting, or analytical workflows
