Senior Blockchain Engineer — DeCruiz Labs

DeCruiz Labs is building a unified and scalable Web3 ecosystem where digital identity, asset ownership, liquidity, and governance seamlessly interact across decentralized platforms. Our ecosystem spans Web3 gaming, DeFi infrastructure, tokenized real estate, and cross-chain interoperability solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to help architect and build secure, scalable, and high-performance decentralized systems powering next-generation digital economies.

About the Role

As a Senior Blockchain Engineer at DeCruiz Labs, you will play a key role in designing and developing core blockchain infrastructure and decentralized applications across multiple client and ecosystem projects. You will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, frontend developers, and leadership teams to deliver scalable Web3 solutions focused on DeFi, tokenized assets, staking systems, gaming ecosystems, and cross-chain interoperability.

This role requires strong technical ownership, hands-on smart contract development experience, and the ability to contribute to architecture decisions in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative blockchain products that bridge real-world assets, digital economies, and decentralized financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts and decentralized applications across multiple blockchain networks
  • Build scalable blockchain infrastructure for DeFi, tokenized real-world assets, NFT ecosystems, and Web3 gaming platforms
  • Develop backend services and APIs that integrate with blockchain protocols and wallet systems
  • Lead architecture decisions around interoperability, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end Web3 solutions
  • Conduct smart contract testing, code reviews, and security-focused development practices
  • Optimize transaction flows, gas efficiency, and protocol performance
  • Research and integrate emerging blockchain technologies, Layer 2 solutions, and cross-chain protocols
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong blockchain development expertise
  • Deep understanding of Solidity and EVM-compatible ecosystems
  • Experience building DeFi protocols, staking systems, DEX integrations, or tokenized asset platforms
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and backend architecture design
  • Experience integrating Web3 wallets and frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
  • Hands-on experience with Hardhat, Foundry, Ethers.js, or Web3.js
  • Strong understanding of blockchain security principles and smart contract vulnerabilities
  • Experience working with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first, fast-moving environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot, or other non-EVM ecosystems
  • Familiarity with Layer 2 infrastructure, zk-rollups, or cross-chain bridge protocols
  • Experience with Web3 gaming infrastructure or metaverse ecosystems
  • Open-source contributions within blockchain or Web3 communities

Tech Stack

Solidity, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Ethers.js, Hardhat, Foundry, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, Web3 infrastructure, and decentralized finance protocols.

Why Join DeCruiz Labs

  • Work on cutting-edge Web3 infrastructure and interoperable blockchain ecosystems
  • High ownership and direct impact on product architecture
  • Remote-first and globally distributed team
  • Opportunity to shape next-generation DeFi, gaming, and tokenized asset platforms
  • Fast-paced environment with strong growth potential and leadership opportunities
