Role Overview:

We are looking for a driven and creative Community Engagement Manager to join our Customer Marketing team.
At the heart of this role is the nurturing and growth of the Trellix online community — creating a vibrant, valuable, and deeply engaged space where security professionals, customers, and partners can connect, learn, and thrive. You will build on this foundation by expanding our established Social Ambassador Program, identifying new advocates and empowering them to carry the Trellix brand further into the cybersecurity conversation. Alongside these core priorities, you will manage our organic presence on LinkedIn and YouTube to ensure Trellix remains a credible and influential voice in the B2B cybersecurity space.

About the Role

Community Management

  • Own and drive the growth of the Trellix online community, creating a welcoming, engaging, and valuable space for security professionals

  • Develop and execute strategic programs to deepen member engagement, including AMAs, virtual events, member spotlights, discussion threads, and product feedback forums

  • Moderate community discussions, respond to member questions, and ensure a consistently positive and inclusive experience for all members

  • Identify and nurture highly engaged community members, connecting them to broader opportunities within the Trellix ecosystem

  • Partner with Product, Customer Success, and the Trellix Learning Center to surface timely resources, product updates, and training content within the community

  • Monitor and report on community health metrics including membership growth, engagement rates, and member sentiment, using insights to continuously improve the community experience

Social Ambassador Program

  • Expand and evolve Trellix's established Social Ambassador Program by identifying and recruiting new advocates from within the customer, partner, and employee community

  • Develop ongoing enablement resources, engagement initiatives, and incentive programs to keep ambassadors active, motivated, and growing in their advocacy

  • Equip ambassadors with shareable content, messaging toolkits, and exclusive access to Trellix news, events, and thought leadership

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with ambassadors, recognizing and celebrating their contributions to the Trellix community

  • Track ambassador activity, reach, and impact, reporting on program growth and ROI

Organic Social Media

  • Support and execute Trellix's organic social media strategy across LinkedIn and YouTube, amplifying community stories, ambassador voices, and brand thought leadership

  • Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with community programs, product launches, campaigns, and industry events

  • Create compelling, on-brand content — including copy, graphics, and short-form video — tailored for a B2B cybersecurity audience

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, PR, Sales, Customer Success) to ensure a consistent and authoritative brand voice across all channels

  • Track and report on organic social performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategy and better serve the community

About You

Required Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in community management, social media, or brand advocacy — preferably in a B2B technology or cybersecurity environment

  • Proven experience managing and growing online communities, with a track record of driving meaningful engagement and measurable results

  • Experience working with or expanding ambassador or advocacy programs

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging content for a professional audience

  • Experience managing online communities using platforms such as Khoros, Higher Logic, Discourse, or similar

  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, trends, or terminology, with the ability to engage credibly with a technical audience — prior experience in the cybersecurity industry is a plus

  • Proficiency with social media management and customer success tools such as Sprout Social, Totango, Salesforce

  • Analytical mindset with a track record of measuring and reporting on community and social KPIs

  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders
