We are seeking a Senior Consultant, Resource Management to oversee our P&L management, project accounting, customer success, and resource optimization across our professional services organization. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered profitably, teams are effectively utilized, and customers achieve strong outcomes. This is a highly visible role in a fast passed software environment.

What You'll Be Doing

    •    Own and manage the services P&L, including revenue, cost, and margin performance
    •    Drive forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for services delivery
    •    Monitor project financials and take corrective action to protect margins
    •    Develop and track KPIs such as gross margin, billable utilization, and revenue per resource
    •    Ensure accurate project accounting (revenue recognition, cost tracking, margin analysis)
    •    Partner with delivery teams to manage budget vs. actuals across all engagements
    •    Implement standardized project financial tracking and reporting frameworks
    •    Identify risks related to scope, cost overruns, and delivery timelines
    •    Optimize employee utilization rates across projects
    •    Manage resource planning, capacity, and demand forecasting
    •    Balance workload to maximize billable hours while maintaining quality
    •    Track and improve key metrics (utilization %, billable vs. non-billable time)
    •    Develop and execute training programs to improve team capabilities
    •    Identify skill gaps and build targeted enablement plans
    •    Support onboarding and continuous learning for delivery teams
    •    Foster a high-performance, accountable culture

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management or Accounting preferred.
  • 3+ years of P&L and project accounting experience
  • 3+ working with or managing project margins and utilization for a SaaS company or equivalent
  • 2 years of project management experience with budget management responsibility
  • Experience creating and presenting to executive level stakeholders (technical and non-technical). 
  • Experience with Changepoint is a plus
  • Team Player
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
