We are seeking a Internal Tools Engineer to join our Developer GTM organization. This is a pivotal role that offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the software products that empower and enable our Go-to-Market strategy. You will be instrumental in redefining how we visualize our pipeline, creating intelligent sales tools that trigger the right customer touchpoints at the optimal time, and ultimately optimizing the entire developer buying journey through technology. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where technical excellence meets strategic GTM execution.
We're looking for someone with a background/foundation in full-stack software development, data engineering, or building robust internal/AI applications. About the Developer GTM Organization:
Created in January 2025, our centralized Developer Go-to-Market (GTM) organization functions as a "speedboat" to maintain focus, control direction, and iterate quickly. Our mission is to build long-term relationships with developers by addressing their unique needs and challenges with specialized attention and resources.
Our team operates across four core pillars: Marketing, Developer Relations, Growth Programs, and Sales. These functions work in close collaboration to support customers throughout their journey, from raising awareness and inspiring new use cases to driving platform adoption, consumption, and scaling customer relationships. Each function amplifies the impact of the others through strategic partnerships and shared insights.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust internal software tools and applications that empower the Developer GTM team.
• Support the development of advanced pipeline visualization dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time insights into GTM performance.
• Build intelligent sales enablement tools that leverage data to identify optimal customer touchpoints and recommend timely engagements.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Developer Relations, and Growth Programs to understand their operational challenges and translate them into technical requirements and innovative software solutions.
• Integrate various data sources (e.g., CRM, billing systems, product usage data) to create a unified view for GTM teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of internal workflows and operational efficiency through automation and custom software development.
• Own the full software development lifecycle for your projects, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to other team members, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Proven expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) and relevant frameworks.
• Strong understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL) and experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce development, API integrations) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a significant plus.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and architect scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Strong sense of ownership; someone who takes initiative, works independently, and manages time and project priorities effectively.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels, bridging the gap between technical and business teams.
• Highly customer-centric, with a natural curiosity about how software can solve GTM challenges and a strategic mindset for optimizing operational processes.
• Comfortable working under pressure and adjusting priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
• Background in SaaS or Product-Led Growth (PLG) and understanding of their associated GTM motions is a strong plus.
