Role Overview
The Senior IT Systems Engineer will serve as a principal technical owner of our internal systems and tools ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally to design, administer and integrate the tools and platforms that power our mission critical work. You will act as the lead IT engineer for complex projects, including AI readiness and adoption projects, M&A system integrations, and new system deployments. You will collaborate closely with our security teams to ensure our systems meet and exceed compliance standards and industry best practices.
As a senior member of the IT team, you’ll act as a crucial escalation point for complex technical issues and will contribute to department projects across corporate IT, infrastructure, security and devops.

Responsibilities
- Configure and administer key saas tools and systems across IT and other functional areas: AI tools, Google Workspace, Office 365, SSO/IdP, Slack, Zoom, Notion, etc.
- Act as the principal IT engineer for M&A system migration and integration projects (e.g. Office 365 to Google Workspace, Confluence to Notion).
- Build new AI agents and workflows, and support AI readiness projects as a principal technical resource.
- Integrate key systems to enhance business intelligence and data integrity across sources.
- Implement SSO integrations for new and existing apps, including automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Build and maintain a directory service that syncs key personnel data across company systems.
- Manage IAM and RBAC, with roles syncing from a central directory.
- Coordinate with GRC/Security teams to ensure IT system configurations meet or exceed compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain documentation used by external MSP to administer internal systems and provide employee support.
- Acting as a senior technical resource, contributing to projects and technical escalations across corporate IT, infrastructure and other areas.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working on IT teams at technology companies.
- Expert-level administrative knowledge of common workplace tools and saas products, like Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian Suite, Notion, etc.
- Expert-level knowledge of common consumer and server operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Experience with M&A IT migration and integration projects.
- Experience creating AI agents and knowledge of MCP servers and RAG.
- Experience setting up SSO/SAML integrations with common providers like Entra ID, Okta, or OneLogin.
- Experience using directory services to enable RBAC.
- Experience working with GRC teams to maintain compliance across IT systems.
- Proven ability to collaborate on projects cross-functionally as a technical subject matter expert.
