Job Overview

You will be responsible for supporting the implementation, management, and optimization of our People systems (Paycom and other HRIS, benefits platforms, etc.), while partnering with Payroll, IT, Benefits, and Recruiting to support complex People operations, systems integrations, and vendor coordination. This is a senior, hybrid technical and strategic role for someone who combines HRIS and data analytics expertise with the ability to operate independently in fast-changing environments. Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain, and continuously improve our HRIS (Paycom, Workday).

  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot system issues and implement updates or improvements.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all People systems, including payroll, benefits, time tracking, and performance management, using data analytics to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Build advanced reports and dashboards (leveraging Excel, Power Query, and Power BI) to support People Operations and leadership decision-making.

  • Recommend and lead automation initiatives (e.g., Power Automate) to streamline People processes and reduce manual work.

  • Support complex employee lifecycle events and workflows, from onboarding through offboarding.

  • Administer and monitor background checks and drug screens for new hires and other employment-related processes.

  • Maintain compliant and organized employee records (physical and digital).

  • Help ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with local, state, federal, and, where applicable, international employment laws and regulations.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding People policies, benefits, payroll, and systems.

  • Support ad hoc People projects including engagement surveys, initiatives, and internal communications.

Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in HRIS administration, People Operations, or HR systems roles.

  • Hands-on experience with a modern HRIS platforms (Paycom, Workday experience required.

  • Strong understanding of People processes (onboarding, benefits, compliance, etc.), with the ability to independently own complex workflows.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Comfortable operating independently and building structure in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

  • Tech-savvy, with a demonstrated track record of optimizing processes and driving automation across HR systems.

  • Experience supporting a startup or fast-growth company.

  • Familiarity with U.S. employment laws and regulations; international employment law/regulation experience or experience with global workforce management or Employers of Record (EORs) is a plus.

  • Experience with systems integration (HRIS, payroll, ATS, benefits, etc.).

  • Strong data analytics capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment

  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports

  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)
