At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.

As a Senior Product Manager on the Organizational Units team, you will own the structural layer of Vanta for enterprise customers. This includes Org Unit object, the access and permissions model for org units, and the reporting that rolls up across units. You’ll define the foundation that powers Vanta’s product teams, public API, MCP, and Vanta Agent—enabling agents to act safely within large enterprises.

Large enterprises operate in complex environments - they must meet different regulations, compliance and security requirements across geographies, product lines, business units and more. The Org Units team’s work enables customers to handle multi-framework compliance scenarios and multi-unit organizational structures in one cohesive environment. This team brings precision and efficiency to program setup, monitoring, and reporting - ensuring that compliance automation scales with organizational growth. Building AI-first experiences are a cornerstone of this product area’s success, as organizations managing millions of assets depend on scalable, intelligent solutions.

You’ll partner with teams across Vanta to deliver foundational components that enable customers to represent their program in Vanta, focusing on permissions, access, reporting, and organizational unit management. You’ll bring an innovative perspective to this area, building agent-first experiences to achieve our vision of autonomous GRC management for the enterprise.

What you’ll do as a Senior Product Manager at Vanta:

  • Own the organizational unit creation, management, reporting, and permission-related workflows

  • Build agent-first experiences to support organization management and insights through agents, with clear requirements for authorization, human review, and traceability

  • Work directly with our largest customers and prospects, and with enterprise sales and customer success, to understand how real organizations are structured and turn that into clear, prioritized specs with acceptance criteria

  • Partner with design and engineering teams to deliver a high quality product to our largest customers in an area where a wrong data model decision is expensive to unwind

  • Partner with our go-to-market teams to tell the Vanta enterprise story to customers and prospects

  • Distill complex problems and opportunities into clearly prioritized product goals for your team, collaborate with partner teams, and drive high-quality execution in collaboration with stakeholders across the company

  • Deliver a high quality product addressing key customer pain points and creating opportunities for competitive advantage

How to be successful in this role:

  • Have 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality SaaS/B2B to enterprises

  • Have strong technical skills and experience working on cross-platform initiatives, in highly complex areas

  • Experience owning technical platform capabilities used by multiple teams or products

  • Have experience working with LLMs, writing evals, and building agent-first experiences

  • Possess a customer-focused mindset– proactively reach out to customers, synthesize feedback, and partner with go-to-market teams

  • Be deeply curious, empathetic, and user-centric, with a knack for driving effective collaboration among diverse stakeholders

  • Communicate with clarity and influence—both written and verbal—with team members, stakeholders, and executives

  • Be data driven– you lean into qual signals from users and can dig into the quant side to inform roadmap & prioritization

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.

  • Use AI in day-to-day work to amplify your skills and strengthen your outcomes, applying it across routine workflows, actively building fluency through experimentation, and exercising sound judgment to ensure AI-assisted work meets a high quality bar.

What you can expect as a Vanta’n:

  • Industry-competitive salary and equity

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of employee-only benefit premiums covered for most medical plans

  • 16 weeks paid Parental Leave for all new parents

  • Health & wellness stipend

  • Remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipend

  • Commuter benefits for team members who report to the SF and NYC office

  • Family planning benefits

  • Matching 401(k) contribution with immediate vesting

  • Flexible PTO policy, plus 80 hours of Sick Time

  • 11 company-paid holidays

  • Virtual team building activities, lunch and learns, and other company-wide events!

  • Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, and Sydney

At Vanta, we are committed to hiring diverse talent of different backgrounds and as such, it is important to us to provide an inclusive work environment for all. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender identity, age, religion, sexual orientation, veteran or disability status, or any other protected class. As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage and welcome people of all backgrounds to apply.

About Vanta

We started in 2018, in the wake of several high-profile data breaches. Online security was only becoming more important, but we knew firsthand how hard it could be for fast-growing companies to invest the time and manpower it takes to build a solid security foundation. Vanta was inspired by a vision to restore trust in internet businesses by enabling companies to improve and prove their security. From our early days automating security monitoring for compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001 to creating the world's leading Trust Management Platform, our vision remains unchanged.

Now more than ever, making security continuous—not just a point-in-time check— is essential. Thousands of companies rely on Vanta to build, maintain and demonstrate their trust— all in a way that's real-time and transparent.
