Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Project Manager with experience in the banking industry to oversee and drive the successful delivery of technological implementations or simple solution deployments. This role requires strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of banking terminology and operations, and the ability to manage a mix of internal and external project resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects or solution rollouts, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth coordination and execution.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders, including executive-level project sponsors.
  • Apply strong project management discipline across risk management, schedule tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports to drive accountability and transparency.
  • Facilitate meetings, track project milestones, and ensure project deliverables align with business goals.
  • Have a cursory understanding of the technical ecosystems that most institutions rely on to operate. While specific core provider knowledge is helpful, understanding should be core agnostic.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing technology or business projects, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Solid understanding of banking terms, practices, and operational structure.
  • Demonstrated experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong skills in risk identification, issue tracking, and schedule management.
  • PMP or other relevant certification is a plus.

Salary Range:

$111,000.00-$157,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
