What you'll do:
- Oversee the end-to-end sample process to ensure all projects with SKU lists are accurately checked in and out.
- Partner with the Marketing Production Project Management team and stakeholders in securing, tracking and receiving samples.
- Collaborate with Sample Management colleagues and other functional team members to ensure a seamless workflow into shoot production.
- Execute merchandise transfers from Chewy's nationwide fulfillment center network to ensure product samples are available for photography.
- Ensure that all samples sourced from fulfillment centers or other channels are ordered and received within established SLAs.
- Troubleshoot issues related to inventory organization, packaging, shipments, and product quality.
- Assist in documenting all sample transfer transactions, damages, and donations to maintain accurate reporting.
- Conduct routine audits of on-hand samples to identify items that are at end-of-life, obsolete, damaged, or ready for donation; coordinate donation efforts with the appropriate teams.
- Exercise judgement when verifying if enough SKUs have been received to execute all required imagery and request more if needed.
- Communicate updates/feedback in status meetings and/or through Workfront projects to keep Studio partners informed of SKU availability.
- Attend company business meetings to have a general awareness of Chewy's business, products/services, and the market.
- Lead communication within the studio to ensure all sample handling and care procedures are clearly understood and properly followed.
- Have the ability and are comfortable driving a Sprinter Van to pick up package deliveries and attend location photoshoots.
What you'll need:
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and use inventory and workflow systems such as Workfront, Creative Force (sample tracking software), and similar tools.
- Ability to partner with cross functional teams within the studio ensuring consistent follow-up, information gathering, and clear communication throughout the process.
- Experienced in organizing and distributing shipments and samples, with the ability to safely lift and move heavy materials as needed (50+ lbs).
- Ability to provide feedback that may inform adjustments to short-term operating plans.
- Recommend modifications to daily operations to help drive process improvements.
- Experienced in supporting cross-functional teams to drive project alignment and execution.
- Ability to set day-to-day priorities for their own work.
- Valid driver's license & insurance to drive company van.
- Prior experience in a studio environment is highly valued.
