Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interact and coordinate with the onsite USAISEC Project Engineers (PE) on a daily basis during surveys and installation efforts.
  • Assist with and ensure all daily reports, spreadsheets, and required documentation are provided to the USAISEC PE and the designated Technical Monitor (TM) in accordance with the PWS and contract CDRLs.
  • Conduct Survey and Installation In/Out Briefings as required.
  • Assist with managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance of complex tasks.
  • Ensure timely completion and quality control of all tasks and project deliverables.
  • Review dates to ensure that projects remain on target.
  • Coordinate any project changes, problems, issues with stakeholders that would affect the project schedule or any of the deliverables.
  • Provide Analysis Reports documenting solutions recommendations.
  • Review process and procedures for Continuous Process Improvement and providing updated documentation as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a US passport.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, computer, or electronics engineering (or closely related curriculum) with 5+ years’ experience.
    • 10+ years’ experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
  • 3 years’ experience in leading a team of network engineers in systems management.
  • Knowledge of enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless networking, and structured cabling systems.
  • Understanding of network installation methodologies, testing procedures, technical documentation, cybersecurity requirements, grounding and bonding practices, firestopping standards, and network deployment best practices.
  • Must be proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Word.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • One or more of the following System certifications:
    • Cisco (CCNA)
    • Juniper (JNCIA-Junos)
    • Ruckus (RCNA)
  • One or more of the following IAT Level II certifications:
    • CCNA-Security
    • CySA+
    • GICSP
    • GSEC
    • Security+ CE (Preferred)
    • CND
    • SSCP

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00.  The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
