Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer with 2 to 5 years of professional experience to join our core engineering team, with a strong focus on the .NET framework and C#. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

Essential Functions

  • Feature Development: Design, code, test, and deploy clean, well-structured, and maintainable software features utilizing C# and .NET Core / .NET 8+.
  • System Architecture & Design: Participate in technical design sessions, offering input on scalable architecture, secure API design (ASP.NET Core Web API), and database schema optimization.
  • Code Quality & Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, QA, Data engineering, and DevOps to ensure smooth feature delivery, effective testing coverage and seamless CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify, debug, and resolve complex technical issues, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks in production and non-production .NET environments.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional software development experience in a production environment, with at least 2 years dedicated to C# and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Frameworks: Strong proficiency in ASP.NET Core and modern .NET 8+. Experience building web applications, RESTful APIs, and Blazor Server-side applications.
  • ORM & Databases: Experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core) or Dapper, alongside relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for writing efficient queries and data modeling.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with hosting .NET applications on cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices, including containerization (Docker) and CI/CD tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Bonus): Experience in healthcare or HIPAA-compliant environments
