What you’ll be doing...
  • Sales, Forecasting, and Acceleration:
    • 100% to assigned quota plan obligation.
    • Meet 30 / 60 / 90 day Funnel build requirements and ensure monthly forecast accuracy.
    • Drive Deal and Deal registration acceleration, providing Back Office support including presale quoting, account analysis, and partner sales onboarding.
    • Function as a Direct sales Liaison for Strat, GE (F1, F2 & MB) as well as with the field team.
    • Manage targeted execution activities for product launches, SPIFFs, promos, and iconic/holiday events.
    • Focus on Solution Selling, navigating the Verizon product portfolio, and systems.
  • Business Development and Strategy:
    • Lead BizDev activities, including MDF alignment and investment strategy for qualifying partners.
    • Provide thought leadership grounded in research, consumer insights, and industry trends.
    • Engage in BA partner advocacy, account mapping, and sell partner value to GE using a comprehensive partner bio.
    • Facilitate Training and resource sharing, and attend one partner and tradeshow event per quarter.
    • Manage the NL component (e.g., 25% NL 25% ATN) and drive partner recognition based on defined metrics/milestones.
  • Relationship Management and Engagement:
    • Execute a meaningful sales strategy, including 20 email/calls per month, 5 face-to-face meetings monthly, and 4 customer appointments (F2F or Virtual) per week.
    • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for the top partner in the module, four times per year.
    • Host new partner roadshows, requiring F2F time three times per quarter, and manage the 'Why VPP' / VPP enablement story.
    • Perform Partner DNA mapping to align on planning, segment, geography, vertical, and infrastructure.

What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Two or more years of wireline business channel experience. 
  • Verizon Wireline product knowledge
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Proficiency and technical acumen of Verizon Wireline solutions.
  • Existing Verizon partner relationships with key partners.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $123,000.00 - $215,000.00.
