By partnering with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and Business Intelligence—the role ensures alignment on key business objectives, facilitates rapid innovation, and supports scalable solutions through advanced analytics, consumer behavior insights, and performance measurement. The role is critical in surfacing high-impact opportunities, improving data quality, and enabling self-service reporting to empower teams across the organization.

Top Reasons to Apply:

  • Massive Scale and High-Impact Visibility: You will own the top of the funnel for a high-revenue seller business. This role provides rare exposure to massive, true "big data" and puts you in the room presenting directly to CMOs and executive leadership.
  • The Best of Both Worlds: Startup Innovation with Corporate Backing: You get to operate in a high-growth, "startupy" capacity—driving rapid experimentation and product innovation—while having the financial backing and stability of a highly profitable core business.
  • Industry-Leading AI and Modern Tech Stack: The company is recognized by vendors as a top-tier leader in AI adoption. You will actively champion AI-enabled reporting and work with a cutting-edge stack that includes Python, SQL, Tableau, Amplitude, dbt, Airflow, and advanced tools like Streamlit, MCP, and Windsurf.
  • High-Maturity Data Culture: If you care about data quality and maturity, this team champions it at scale. You will have the resources and organizational buy-in to improve tracking, build scalable ETL pipelines, and establish data integrity across the entire company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Facilitate both short- and long-term strategic goals across core product initiatives.
  • Lead exploratory analyses to identify and size product development opportunities, balancing trade-offs between feature growth and optimization.
  • Drives the creation of learning agendas, design multivariate tests, and translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations that shape critical business decisions and influence the product roadmap.
  • Define success metrics for strategic initiatives, while delivering high-quality, data-driven analyses that surface impactful insights—particularly around consumer behavior, segmentation, and quality acquisition.
  • Champion the development of self-service AI-enabled reporting tools, empowering cross-functional teams to independently explore, measure, and monitor performance.
  • Drive continuous improvements in tracking and data quality, lead deep-dive analyses to understand product performance, and address key strategic questions.
  • Provide a unique opportunity to influence product direction by uncovering foundational insights into consumer preferences, behaviors, and intent through descriptive, statistical, and predictive analytics.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Expertise in Data Science & Search –MS/BS in computer science, statistics, mathematics, operations research or related fields, and 5 years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning or applied statistics, with a strong background in product analytics or experimentation.
  • Extensive Technical Skills – Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, and Amplitude (or similar analytics tools).
  • Experience with AI enabled tools (streamlit, Claude/MCP, n8n, windsurf) is a must.
  • Ability to create ETL pipelines using dbt + Airflow.
  • Strong Creative Thinking & Problem-Solving Skills – Passion for tackling complex analytical problems, improving user experience, experimentation, and driving measurable impact.
  • Excellent Communication – Ability to articulate insights from data, statistical or ML concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
