About Hello Heart:

Hello Heart is on a mission to make heart attacks a thing of the past.

We’re an AI company focused exclusively on heart health, building a platform that predicts and prevents cardiac events before they happen—identifying risk up to 10 days in advance versus 10 years in traditional clinical models.

This is already working at scale. Hello Heart has been shown to reduce inpatient hospital days by 47% and deliver ~$1,800 in annual savings per member. Hello Heart is the cardiac prevention partner to over 80% of large U.S. health plans and serves hundreds of public and private employers.
We’re defining how the #1 cause of death—heart disease—is managed in the AI era. Join us.

About the role:

Our products already work at scale. The next wave of growth comes from helping every enrolled member reach lasting use across every product. That's the job.

You'll guide the path from enrollment to lasting habit. As Senior Director of Product Growth, you'll define what "activated" means across our portfolio, from our core heart health app to medication adherence with a connected pillbox and new care models for Medicare members. You'll own the metrics that track members from enrollment to repeated use. You'll find exactly where and why members drop off, and turn that into recommendations, forecasts, and experiments that product leaders act on.

This isn't an acquisition or performance marketing role, and it isn't a second product owner role. Members reach us through their employers and health plans, and product leaders own their roadmaps and enrollment with GTM. You'll guide growth across the portfolio and own in-product activation and engagement, setting the bar for how we measure and experiment.

Activation here isn't a vanity metric. A member who takes a second reading, sets up their pillbox, or returns to their AI coach is a member we can help.

Responsibilities:

  • Own product strategy and execution for a new growth team across product lines, from identifying opportunities to shipping and iterating on solutions.
  • Own activation, engagement, and retention definitions across product lines, so every team measures the path from enrollment to repeated use the same way.
  • Improve core product metrics, such as retention and adoption of key features.
  • Partner with Member Marketing, who own lifecycle messaging, and with Data, so in-product moments and lifecycle communication work as one member journey, measured with trusted metrics.
  • Build product operating mechanisms across product lines: shared metrics, one experimentation process, and a regular review cadence, with the privacy, safety, and clinical guardrails a regulated health product needs.
  • Lead the growth pod hands-on, pairing with designers and engineers to ship experiments rather than filing requests.
  • Report results, forecasts, and the decisions they imply to product leaders and executives.
  • Use AI daily to shorten the time from question to decision, from automated funnel monitoring to faster analysis and readouts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in product, growth, or analytics-driven product roles, including 5+ years leading growth for B2C or B2B2C products at scale with a proven record of exceptional growth.
  • A proven track record of scaling products and features to large user bases, with measurable impact on engagement and retention.
  • You've owned activation or retention numbers. You can tell us what they were when you started, what they were when you left, and how you know your work moved them.
  • An operator with analytical depth. You write SQL, work in product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Tableau, and challenge an analysis before it reaches a decision.
  • Strong experimentation craft, including tests where traffic is limited or classic A/B testing doesn't fit.
  • You think in systems, not campaigns, and you've built growth practices that multiple teams adopted.
  • Experience growing products where members are enrolled through a partner, such as an employer or health plan, and need a reason to start, a plus.
  • A record of driving decisions across product leaders who don't report to you.
  • Working knowledge of behavioral science and habit formation, applied responsibly.
  • AI-native builder: you use AI tools as a core part of how you analyze, prototype, and ship, and you can create measurement foundations where data is still messy.
  • Healthcare, digital health, or other regulated-industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Clear communicator who can turn a complex funnel into one decision.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $275,000 to $300,000. Salary ranges are determined by role and level.
