What We Need:
Synapse Health is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to join our People Operations team. This is a remote role that serves as the strategic HR partner for multiple business functions, working closely with senior leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and business performance.
The Sr. HRBP operates as a consultant, coach, and change leader, embedded with the teams they support. This role leverages deep HR expertise and strong business acumen to help leaders navigate growth, scale teams effectively, and build high-performing organizations. We are looking for thoughtful, pragmatic, and business-minded HRBPs who know how to balance strategy with execution and elevate how People practices show up across the company.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leaders, providing coaching and counsel on people strategy, organizational design, and leadership effectiveness.
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business functions, owning all people-related matters end to end.
- Partner with leaders on performance management, change management, employee relations, workforce planning, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Lead and support organizational design and transformation efforts, ensuring structures, roles, and capabilities align with business goals.
- Use people data and analytics to identify trends, assess organizational health, and deliver insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes.
- Assess team effectiveness, engagement, and operating models, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.
- Drive the planning and execution of key People programs, including talent reviews, compensation planning, workforce management, engagement surveys, and leadership development initiatives.
- Partner closely with the broader People team to design and implement scalable, high-impact programs and policies that attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Leverage HR technology and systems to improve decision-making, enhance the employee experience, and strengthen People Operations capabilities.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations as needed and partnering with leadership to resolve issues effectively and consistently.
- Champion and support a strong Performance Management culture, fostering accountability, growth, and continuous improvement across teams.
What You Have:
At Synapse Health, we’ve intentionally built a culture rooted in kindness, collaboration, and creativity, qualities we consider essential for every team member. Additional requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with 3–5 years in a strategic HR Business Partner role supporting senior leaders.
- Experience in high-growth, high-volume environments with diverse employee populations and complex employee relations needs.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated success driving talent development, organizational effectiveness, and change initiatives.
- Experience working with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills, judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive matters.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $91,200 – $138,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. Compensation discussions are encouraged throughout the hiring process.
