We are looking for a strategic operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and who can translate a counterfeit strategy into scalable execution. You’ll lead a team of specialists within the Intellectual Property Risk and Compliance (IPRC) team, translate high-level strategy into clear roadmaps, and hold our partners accountable through data-driven performance and transparent reporting.
What You’ll Do
Drive Strategy & People Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of specialists, encouraging a culture of expertise and accountability while overseeing the end-to-end anti-counterfeiting roadmap.
Operational Governance: Translate strategic goals into actionable execution frameworks across all categories, ensuring all workstreams are aligned and effective.
Detection & Mitigation: Partner with enforcement teams to identify emerging trends, improve detection accuracy, and disrupt counterfeit networks at scale.
Cross-Functional Accountability: Collaborate with Legal, Brand Relations, and Product teams to align priorities. You will establish important metrics, SLAs, and audit mechanisms to measure success and surface gaps.
Performance Reporting: Use data to tell a clear story of program health and risk mitigation, delivering regular insights to senior leadership.
Continuous Evolution: Constantly refine our tools, policies, and training to stay ahead of bad actors and strengthen eBay’s marketplace health.
What You Bring
7+ years in brand protection, trust and safety, or IP enforcement, including at least 4 years leading teams and programs.
IP Expertise: A deep understanding of intellectual property rights, counterfeit risks, and global enforcement models.
Program Leadership: A proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects with measurable results.
