Job Description:

Domain knowledge – excellent understanding of the security and identity domain with reference solutions like okta, enterprise information system, platform information system and identity & access management product. Expert over the last 5 years in the area and is in a position to guide, consult and recommend broader solutions to CDK product. Knowledge of other CDK products like Drive, DMS, Modern Retailing, CDK service is highly critical to consult and engage with other products to provide suggestions and solutions. Develops a high degree of skills in the identity domain with tools like okta, cloud computing, ci/cd, monitoring, development technology skills like react, Node, Spring Boot, JAVA, PagerDuty, app dynamics. Expertise in processes and integration of industry standard protocols such as OPENID CONNECT, OAUTH 2.0, single sign on (SSO), secure access and federation (SAML). These standards are extensively used within CDK products. Experience on amazon webservices (AWS. architecture & design. Leads the architecture maturity model initiatives for the product and guides team members, and contribution in the areas of driving resiliency, scalability, and security of the product are unique skills that complement in other areas. Coach and mentor for multiple engineering teams in driving design, architecture for other products with expertise in the technical, identity domain, and architectural skills. 100% Telecommuting.

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Software Developer or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: 1) Using Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies to design, develop, and maintain secure authentication and authorization systems across enterprise platforms, including migration from CA SiteMinder to Okta and implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO), Single Logout (SLO), and federated identity solutions using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols; 2) Using Okta and its APIs to build and administer identity solutions, including custom integrations with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Docebo, Microsoft Azure, Duo, and Google GSuite, ensuring secure and seamless user access across internal and external systems; 3) Using full-stack development technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and React to build and enhance platform services, custom login flows, and user interfaces, ensuring modernized user experiences and secure workflows; 4) Using CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools including NewRelic, Cribl, AppDynamics, PagerDuty, and CloudWatch to automate deployments, optimize system performance, and implement instrumentation standards for legacy and modern applications; 5) Using architectural frameworks and design principles to develop foundational platform services, including Product Information Service and Authorization Information Service, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture maturity models; 6) Using industry-standard security protocols and token-based authentication mechanisms such as JWTs and API Gateway to integrate secure communication between services and enforce fine-grained authorization policies across distributed systems.
