Austin is home to Optiver’s main hardware manufacturing facility, where we design and build the custom trading hardware we use in our trading operations around the globe. Managing this manufacturing process is a complex challenge and we're looking for an experienced professional who can take ownership of our supply chain challenges such as procurement, warehousing, shipping, and planning.

  • Ensure material requirements are correctly forecasted, ordered, and available on time to meet production schedule.
  • Ensure that administration is accurate and functional, serving both internal operational needs and the requirements of stakeholders throughout the larger organization.
  • Manage in-flight material, available stock levels, and production scheduling across multiple sites.
  • Cross functional partnership with our procurement, office operations, legal, tax and accounting teams.
  • Manage all aspects of our incoming and outgoing packages, encompassing warehousing, administration, customs compliance, labeling, and insurance.
  • Partner with our procurement team to manage vendor relationships, encompassing supplier onboarding, quotation and negotiation processes, and the sourcing of hard-to-procure components.

Who you are

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering or similar experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in procure-to-pay processes, supply chain operations, bill of materials management, product lifecycle management, and discrete manufacturing
  • Experience with ERP/MRP software
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment while seamlessly integrating with a larger multinational team to bridge both worlds
  • You have a hands-on, can-do mentality
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented and organized

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in a small scale electronics manufacturing operation
  • Experience managing external relations and vendors
  • Experience managing projects
  • Experience with international shipping and import/export classification
  • Proven experience collaborating with diverse international teams

What you’ll get:

  • Work alongside best-in-class professionals from over 40 different countries.
  • Performance based bonus structure that is unmatched anywhere in the industry. We combine our profits across desks, teams and offices into a global profit pool fostering a truly collaborative environment to work in.
  • Ownership over initiatives that directly solve business problems.
