As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) to help us attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent across our organization.
Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process across Training Wheels ABA, with a primary focus on building strong talent pipelines for clinical and operational positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, provide a positive candidate experience, and help ensure our clinics are appropriately staffed to support the children and families we serve.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting from job posting and sourcing through interviewing, selection, offer, and onboarding coordination.

Recruit for a variety of positions, including BT’s, RBTs, BCBAs, clinical leadership, administrative, and operational roles.

Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, networking, community outreach, and other recruiting channels.

Build relationships with candidates through timely communication, follow-up, and a positive, professional candidate experience.

Partner with operations managers and clinic leadership to understand hiring needs, prioritize openings, and develop effective recruiting strategies.

Conduct candidate screening and initial interviews to assess qualifications, experience, skills, and alignment with Training Wheels ABA's culture and values.

Coordinate interviews and hiring processes with operations managers and clinic leadership while maintaining consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams.

Track recruiting activity and pipeline metrics, including applicants, interviews, offers, hires, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.

Create and optimize job postings to attract qualified candidates and ensure postings accurately reflect each role and Training Wheels ABA's culture.

Develop creative recruiting strategies to increase applicant flow and reach hard-to-fill positions.

Build relationships with universities, professional organizations, and community partners to expand recruiting pipelines.

Participate in recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach as needed.

Collaborate with HR and leadership to identify recruiting trends, staffing challenges, and opportunities to improve the hiring process.

Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with company hiring practices and applicable employment requirements.
Work Location & Schedule
This role requires a minimum of three (3) days per week of in-person presence at our Corporate Office located at 505 E Huntland Drive, Austin, TX 78752, Suite 460, and/or at clinic locations as needed. Specific work locations and required in-person days may vary based on business and operational needs.
The standard business hours for this position are generally 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, with time allotted for a non-paid meal period. As an exempt position, this role may require flexibility in scheduling and occasional work outside of standard business hours to meet organizational needs.
Qualifications

2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, or another high-volume hiring environment.

Experience managing multiple open positions and candidates simultaneously.

Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to effectively prioritize competing hiring needs and deadlines.

Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
