The impact
As a Technical Integration Engineer at Method, you will work directly with Method’s customer success, product and sales teams to onboard and retain customers. You will act as the technical expert in all things implementation and ongoing technical support for our scale accounts. This is a highly technical role working with engineers on the customer end to problem solve and triage ongoing issues with the Method integration. We’re looking for a candidate who wants to drive customer initiatives forward through technical expertise, thoughtful problem-solving, organizational planning, and outstanding execution. This is a perfect role for someone trained as a software engineer who wants to be more customer facing.
Research, troubleshoot, develop, and implement creative technical solutions for our customers
Act as a Method Subject Matter Expert (SME) by working closely with our Engineering and Customer Success teams and engineers on the customer side
Create and update repeatable processes including technical integration and documentation best practices to help drive customers towards self-sufficiency and to increase leverage across teams.
Identify patterns and contribute to product and system improvements
Improve engineering’s tools and documentation processes
Ensure an excellent Method experience for our customers, and gather feedback on ways that Method can build the next generation of user-focused solutions
1-3 years of experience in an engineering or forward deployed engineering role ideally with fintech and/or API-focused companies
Experience working with some combination of Node / JavaScript, React (or similar framework), Postgres (or similar relational database), and MongoDB / NoSQL
Familiarity with modern web services and APIs
Have the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy but also enjoy working dynamically with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
Have the motivation and flexibility to work well in a high-growth environment where things change quickly
Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work under pressure to solve technical problems for Method’s customers
Experience in Financial Services / fintech.
Experience working at a smaller stage company / start-up environment
The annual US base salary range for this role is: $110,000-$150,000.
