About the company

Our client is a fast-growing law firm.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. This is a hands-on transactional lawyer role centered on technology deals. The holder prepares and marks up agreements, guides company leaders through day-to-day legal questions, and coordinates support staff on each file. Experience across varied accounts matters, as does enthusiasm for using AI in legal practice.

What you'll do

- Prepare and mark up master services, software-as-a-service, data processing, business associate and similar agreements.

- Guide company founders on technology deals, privacy obligations and the life of their contracts.

- Work inside a small client team of lawyers, paralegals and operations staff to deliver joined-up support.

- Direct paralegal work and keep quality high while passing practical know-how along to the team.

- Partner with engineering and product colleagues to shape AI-supported legal processes and make transactional services more efficient.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- At least 3 to 4 years of dedicated technology transactions practice, with that time focused on transactional work.

- Experience at a large or top-tier law firm, or a top firm background combined with commercial in-house experience.

- Exposure across many clients and sectors rather than concentration on a single account.

- Familiarity with regulated-sector agreements, business associate terms and privacy rules.

- Hands-on experience drafting data processing agreements and privacy provisions in commercial contracts.

- Solid commercial contracting experience, including master services and software-as-a-service agreements.

- Demonstrated initiative with AI tools in professional or personal work.

Bonus points

- Ability to delegate tasks with full context and think several steps ahead.

- Intention to remain with the firm long-term.
