About This Role
We’re looking for a creative Thumbnail Designer who can make visuals that stop people mid-scroll. In this role, you’ll design eye-catching thumbnails, plan shoots and coordinate with photographers to capture the right assets, test and iterate your ideas, and use data to make sure your designs actually get people clicking. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your work will directly shape how audiences experience our content across YouTube.

What You’ll Do:

• Concept and design thumbnails for Jubilee and Nectar brands.
• Develop and manage photography shot lists and coordinate with on-set photographers to capture all photo assets needed for thumbnails.
• Provide creative direction for thumbnails and packaging during greenlight processes.
• Use AI tools when needed to enhance or improve creative assets.
• Manage an A/B testing workflow, track performance, and report on results to continuously improve CTR.
• Continuously study the thumbnail and packaging landscape, keeping up with trends and best practices to adjust our creative strategy as audience behavior and platform trends evolve.
• Collaborate with production, brand, and marketing teams to ensure designs align with goals and audience insights.
• Manage freelance thumbnail designers and coordinate on-set photographers.
• Expert-level Photoshop skills, including:
• Enhancing RAW photography with manual color correction, lighting and shadow adjustments, and white balance.
• Blending photo assets and matching lighting/compositions from differently lit images.

Who You Are:

• 1–3 years of experience designing thumbnails, preferably for YouTube.
• Strong Photoshop skills and experience enhancing RAW photography and blending assets.
• Comfortable using AI tools to assist in creative workflows.
• Skilled at managing production assets, coordinating photographers, and guiding freelancers.
• Data-informed: experienced with A/B testing and making design decisions that improve CTR.
• Collaborative, communicative, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about creating compelling visuals that engage audiences.

Work Model
At Jubilee, we follow a hybrid work model — We’re in the El Segundo office 3 days a week and remote for 2. So, you’ll need to be local or ready to make the move!
