YETI is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Treasury & Risk Manager to join our Finance organization at our Austin, TX headquarters. This role will sit at the intersection of Treasury, Risk Management, and Financial Strategy, playing a critical role in safeguarding YETI’s financial position through treasury and risk management practices. The position offers the opportunity to build and enhance treasury and risk frameworks in a dynamic, global consumer brand environment.


The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in cash management, financial risk mitigation, banking relationships, cash flow hedging and corporate insurance programs, along with a proactive mindset focused on process improvement, scalability, and disciplined risk management.


Key Responsibilities:


Treasury Management & Liquidity

  • Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity planning across global operations
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
  • Optimize working capital and cash conversion cycles
  • Oversee global cash movement, intercompany funding, and cash pooling strategies
  • Monitor compliance with debt covenants and maintain appropriate liquidity buffers
  • Implement cash flow hedging

Banking & Capital Structure

  • Manage relationships with banking partners and financial institutions
  • Oversee credit facility administration, including borrowings and compliance reporting
  • Support development and execution of capital structure planning and financing strategies
  • Evaluate opportunities to optimize cost of capital and liquidity
     

Financial Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate key financial risks, including liquidity risk, foreign exchange (FX) risk, and interest rate risk
  • Support development and execution of hedging strategies where appropriate
  • Maintain and enhance treasury and risk management policies
     

Insurance Risk Management

  • Oversee the strategic management of the commercial insurance program (other than employee benefits) and lead the annual renewal process
  • Manage relationship with external insurance broker, set performance expectations and drive accountability
  • Evaluate program structure (limits, deductibles, retentions) to balance risk retention and cost efficiency
  • Oversee claims management process, including coordination, tracking and resolution.
  • Partner with legal and procurement to review contractual insurance requirements and risk transfer provisions
  • Support insurance-related disclosures, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Prepare and manage the annual insurance and claims budgets

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Master’s degree and/or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in relevant roles building transferable skills
  • Background in consumer products, retail, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
  • Experience managing multi-line commercial insurance programs
  • Demonstrated experience executing and accounting for FX hedging strategies (e.g., forwards, options)
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities
  • SAP experience preferred. Major ERP system experience required, including experience working in a multi-national enterprise.
  • Understanding and experience with SOX internal control requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
