  • Research & Enhancement: Partner with senior strategists to design and lead content research projects to identify user pain points and inform product enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure user-facing experiences are intuitive and accurate.
  • Strategic Alignment: Work with content strategy leads to ensure all in-product language aligns with the overall product voice and content style guides.
  • Project Autonomy: Manage multiple simultaneous content projects, maintaining high quality and timely delivery while working independently.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in UX, Technical Communication, Journalism, English, Design, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field with a strong writing emphasis or technical communication.
  • A writing or design sample portfolio demonstrating experience in clear, user-focused content creation (course work is acceptable).
  • Ability to commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship.
  • In office 3-5 days a week in Austin, TX.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex topics into simple, usable language.
  • High degree of organization and strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrated willingness to ask clarifying questions and interview/talk to a variety of stakeholders (users, engineers, product managers).
  • Proven proactive and responsible attitude with the willingness to partner in leading projects and owning outcomes from concept to completion.
  • Demonstrated capacity for self-management, and a positive response to feedback as a tool for rapid growth.
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts, positioning, and how brand messaging translates into a product interface.
  • Experience with user research methodologies (surveys, interviews) or basic data analysis/data science skills.
  • Interest in and familiarity with AI tools and prompt engineering to explore efficiencies in content drafting or testing.
  • Foundational understanding of code, web development, or experience with developer platforms.
