The AI Center of Excellence is seeking a Vice President, AI Engineering - AI CoE to lead the delivery and scale of enterprise AI products, agentic AI solutions, and new and evolving AI capabilities across Mastercard.
This is a people manager role leading a global AI Engineering organization responsible for moving AI from experimentation to production-grade, reusable products and capabilities. The Vice President will focus on AI engineering delivery and execution, translating business priorities into AI solutions, shared capabilities, and measurable outcomes while ensuring security, reliability, governance, and operational excellence.

All About You:• Years of leadership experience in AI engineering, software or product engineering, or enterprise technology delivery.• Proven success delivering and scaling enterprise AI products, agentic AI applications, intelligent automation, or mission-critical digital platforms.• Strong technical understanding of agentic AI, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), multi-agent orchestration, workflow automation, and new and evolving AI capabilities.• Experience with hybrid cloud and cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, enterprise integration, and modern AI engineering.• Experience leading production technology in highly regulated environments with accountability for security, resiliency, governance, compliance, and risk.• Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional engineering delivery and execution at enterprise scale.• Proven people leadership experience, including leading leaders, building high-performing global engineering organizations, coaching and developing talent, and driving accountability.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; master's degree preferred.
