This includes ensuring consistent execution of lead generation strategy, agency/COI relationship building, and new business growth, while building brand recognition and increasing Chubb's market share across all assigned geographies. The position is an external-facing leadership role requiring regular travel to support direct reports in-market, coach on execution, and drive collective results across the team’s Tier 1 geographies, spanning New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Seattle. This role will report directly to the North America PRS Sales & Distribution Leader.

Key Responsibilities and Competencies

Strategic Oversight & Execution

  • Develop and execute growth strategies across Tier 1 and Tier 2 Opportunity Geographies. Own the financial performance in these geographies, including new business, hit ratio, and quote volumes, and analyze the impact of the strategies deployed to identify trends and pivot or redirect resources/effort as needed.

  • Identify opportunities to expand or adjust strategies within each Opportunity Geography based on growth results, team performance, market potential and market conditions. Think strategically and willing to support trying new and previously untested tactics for the team to execute within these geographies.

  • Use data-driven insights, including segmenting and tracking sources of new business and quote volume, to diagnose the root causes driving performance and to distinguish results attributable to market or competitor dynamics from results driven by our own strategic activity. Use this ongoing analysis to pivot as needed, informing resource allocation, coaching priorities, and strategic adjustments across the team.

  • Partner with Digital, Marketing, Underwriting, Risk Consulting, Product, Claims, and Branch leadership to coordinate omni-channel campaigns and cross-functional initiatives across all team territories.

  • Ensure consistent adoption of disciplined sales processes across the Tier 1 OG sales team, including Salesforce documentation, business plans, and stakeholder mapping.

  • Travel regularly (30% -40%) to support direct reports in-market, meet with key agencies/COIs, and represent Chubb at a senior level within target communities.

  • Report team performance, pipeline health, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on a regular cadence.

Sales Acumen and Influence Management

  • Ensures a disciplined sales process is followed consistently across the team to drive best-practice execution. Anticipates objections and prepares team members to overcome resistance, modeling effective questioning and active listening skills.

    • Strong negotiation, leveraging, and value-based selling skills, with the ability to coach these skills in others.

  • Deep market and technical knowledge sufficient to coach team through complex negotiations and value-based selling.

  • Able to represent Chubb credibly at a senior level with agencies, COIs, and internal stakeholders; skilled at building consensus across cross-functional partners on behalf of the team.

    • Persuades and influences prospects on “why Chubb,” demonstrating the value of a future relationship for those with little to no prior experience with the company.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Coach direct reports on strategic thinking and tactic development, pushing the team to test new, previously unconsidered approaches to drive brand awareness and new business.

  • Agile leader who can synthesize data across multiple geographies, spot patterns, and redirect team strategy quickly when a tactic underperforms. Comfortable operating with ambiguity and championing untested approaches.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex agency, COI, or internal stakeholder relationships that require additional seniority or negotiation.

  • Proven ability to hire, coach, and retain high-performing sales talent; skilled at giving direct, developmental feedback and managing performance issues fairly and promptly.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

  • Minimum of 10+ years of personal lines experience

  • Exceptional leadership, influence management skills and negotiation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical skills that inform strategy and drive improved results

  • Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships with key distribution partners and outside Centers of Influence

  • Experience in Ultra High Net Worth market, including a strong understanding of high net worth buying habits and trends and leveraging that knowledge to drive growth

  • Ability to collaborate across multiple levels of internal and external organizations
