Shape the next stage of growth for Strategic Applications and Payments at Epicor. As Vice President, Product Management, you will lead a portfolio that extends the value of our ERP platforms through integrated payments, QuickShip, enterprise content management, financial planning and analysis, and other adjacent solutions. You will be responsible for scaling Payments into a material embedded-payments business across the Epicor installed base while creating a repeatable cross-sell motion for the broader portfolio. We are seeking a technical, commercially minded builder with deep payments expertise, a profit-and-loss mindset, and the ability to turn strategy into measurable customer and business outcomes through strong partnership across the organization.

What you will be doing:

  • Set the product vision, portfolio strategy, investment priorities, and roadmap for Strategic Applications, creating one clear strategy aligned to the Epicor Growth Plan across Payments, QuickShip, enterprise content management, financial planning and analysis, and related solutions.

  • Own the end-to-end Payments strategy, including target segments, use cases, roadmap, pricing and packaging, monetization, go-to-market plans, and processor, acquirer, and ecosystem partnerships.

  • Embed payments into core ERP workflows and simplify the customer journey from onboarding and underwriting through first transaction, settlement, reconciliation, disputes, and support, improving activation and time to value.

  • Establish a rigorous Payments operating model across payment volume, net revenue, gross margin, attach, activation, authorization, retention, risk, and service performance, using insights to drive quarterly value delivery and measurable growth.

  • Build repeatable cross-sell motions with ERP product leaders, Sales, and Marketing by defining target segments, value propositions, packaging, field plays, launches, and success measures that support customer adoption and expansion.

  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture to strengthen integration, shared workflows, data, user experience, and API-first capabilities while supporting secure, reliable scale, payment-method expansion, and data- and AI-enabled workflows.

  • Lead in partnership with Finance, Legal, Security, Risk, Compliance, customers, the field, and external payments partners to manage economics, fraud, chargebacks, Payment Card Industry requirements, and regulatory obligations; support strategic deals and build an accountable, high-performing product organization focused on customer and business outcomes.

What you will likely bring:

  • 15+ years’ experience in progressive product management or enterprise software leadership, including 8+ years’ experience leading and developing product teams.

  • Substantial, recent leadership experience building and scaling payments products or an embedded-payments business within a software platform, fintech, processor, acquirer, gateway, or vertical software-as-a-service company, including proven success driving activation, adoption, and transaction growth across an installed customer base.

  • Strong command of the payments lifecycle and ecosystem, including merchant onboarding and underwriting, Know Your Business requirements, gateways, acquiring and processing, authorization, tokenization, settlement, reconciliation, disputes, fraud, and Payment Card Industry requirements, along with experience improving payment volume, net revenue or take rate, gross margin, attach, activation, and retention.

  • Experience leading a complex business-to-business software-as-a-service or enterprise application portfolio, combined with technical fluency across payment APIs, enterprise application architecture, cloud platforms, integrations, data models, security, reliability, and AI-enabled workflows.

  • Commercial judgment, a profit-and-loss mindset, executive presence, and customer credibility, with the ability to think independently, create clarity, challenge assumptions, and act in partnership across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success, Services, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Compliance in a global, matrixed organization. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.

What could set you apart:

  • Experience with ERP or vertical software environments and a track record of growing products through attach, cross-sell, and expansion.

  • Advanced degree and experience building product teams that move effectively from executive strategy through product, partner, and field execution while delivering measurable outcomes.
