At Carrum Health, we have built a unique marketplace for specialty care with unparalleled patient experience

Since 2014, we have been rewiring a fundamentally broken healthcare system. By connecting large employers directly with the nation's top-tier providers, our platform replaces a flawed fee-for-service model with one that actually works. If you are passionate about solving complex economic problems, driving systemic change in our healthcare system, and thriving in a people-first culture, we want you on our team. As a high-growth health tech company, we are seeking high-performing, exceptional talent to scale our platform and ensure that anyone in the country facing a specialty procedure has access to the life-changing Carrum benefit.

Our marketplace creates massive value for all stakeholders:

  • For Employers (Demand): Predictable, transparent pricing that slashes specialty care costs by up to 45% and eliminates waste

  • For Providers (Supply): Ability to gain market share while reducing administrative burden, empowering top-tier doctors to focus completely on delivering optimal care.

  • For Members (Users): A life-changing benefit with dedicated concierges, VIP access to the nation's best specialists, and little-to-no out-of-pocket costs.

The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $210,000 depending on geography and level of experience, plus equity and an annual bonus.

Now, we’re looking for self-driven individuals who can identify more high-quality, cost-effective providers. Our Centers of Excellence are at the core of our two-sided healthcare marketplace, and this team leads the charge.

You will be responsible for leading Carrum Health’s Center of Excellence (COE) expansion. This role will implement our go-to-market strategy for acquiring high-value provider partners and securing competitive bundled prices for the most prevalent and costly episodic procedures.  You will oversee all aspects of network development at Carrum Health.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Own and lead the provider development strategy for assigned markets, building and expanding a differentiated COE network

  • Build new provider partnerships and expand existing relationships through new markets, service lines, and other strategic opportunities

  • Lead complex deals from initial outreach through negotiation and contracting

  • Work collaboratively with our provider contracting and account management/operations team to ensure smooth hand-off from deal through execution

  • Enjoy problem-solving, creative thinking, executing against ambitious goals, and over-delivering for your internal and external stakeholders

  • Make a real change for the better in healthcare

We’re excited about you because…

  • You’re a veteran in provider-focused business development and want to work in a start-up environment. Your track record speaks for itself, but you’re yearning for an opportunity to take your experience and apply it to a new role with enormous growth. We also hope to see from you:

    • 5+ years provider network development

    • 3+ years at director or VP-level positions in the healthcare industry

    • Extensive experience working with large health systems, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and/or individual physician practices

    • Impeccable professionalism, presence, and credibility in front of highly distinguished and experienced health care administrators, clinicians and employer benefit leaders

    • Deep knowledge of value-based care models and contracting, including experience with bundled payments

    • Strong cross-functional leadership skills to coordinate stakeholders across network development, contracting, implementation, account management, and operations

    • Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities, workstreams, deadlines, and competing priorities while keeping deals moving

    • Expertise in all aspects of the sales cycle, including sourcing leads, performing initial outreach, developing relationships, and securing buy-in

    • Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills; able to engage with all levels of an organization

    • Entrepreneurial vigor – you are highly motivated, bring structure to undefined problems, identify sources of value in complex environments, and convey those to diverse stakeholders in a simple and compelling way

    • Relentless drive to find creative ways to meet your goals

    • Service-orientation - you bring a spirit of generosity to your interactions with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, always seeking to go above and beyond

Why you’ll love working with us...

  • We’re a hard-working, humble, and compassionate group motivated to solve the hard problems in healthcare today. You’ll work with talented, experienced co-workers from companies like Booz & Company, Teladoc, Hinge Health, Accolade, Angi, and Optum.

  • We champion a collaborative environment where team members can be autonomous, receive support and healthy feedback, and bring their authentic selves to work.

  • We carve out time to celebrate our successes and have fun. We’re a remote-first company with employees all over the United States. We offer holistic employee support with flexible working hours, generous time off, paid parental leave, opportunities to connect virtually and in-person, and more.

  • We embrace our team’s diversity of thought, experience, and interests and know that doing so makes us stronger as a company. Carrum has an active employee-led Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) committee alongside several employee resource groups (ERGs) that support parents, women, and various underrepresented groups.

  • You’ll feel proud that the work you do each day directly impacts people’s lives in big and meaningful ways.
