Own Intellibright’s new-business sales function, targeting mid-market and enterprise accounts, originating and closing six-figure agency relationships, and building a predictable sales engine. The VP of Sales will establish HubSpot processes, manage forecasting, create a sales-to-delivery handoff, and eventually build a support team. Success includes generating $2.5M+ in qualified pipeline within six months and closing at least one client worth $200K+ in first-year value.

The Opportunity

Intellibright has spent 16+ years building something most agencies can't claim: proprietary revenue analytics that connect marketing spend directly to pipeline, sales, and revenue. Our clients stay because we prove what their marketing produces.

Now we need someone to put that story in front of bigger rooms.

This is a rare seat. You will be Intellibright's sales function: no inherited team, no legacy process to work around, no one else's pipeline to clean up. You own new business end to end, from targeting and outreach through the pitch, the close, and the handoff. As the business grows, you build the support team you want, the way you want it.

You'll have a direct line to the CEO at any time. Decisions happen in the same meeting they're raised, and action starts immediately. No committees, no approval chains.

If you've been the reason a company's client roster leveled up, and you want a plan that pays you like it, this is where you do it again.

This is a great opportunity for a hungry, proven seller who is ready to step into a VP role. If you have been the top producer who outgrew the job, here you get the title, the authority, and a plan that pays for what you build.

The Mission

Land the mid-market and enterprise accounts that change Intellibright's trajectory. Winning means our average new client is materially larger than it is today, new business is predictable instead of lumpy, and the sales engine runs on a system you built.

What You'll Have Behind You

  • Defined ideal client profiles. We know who we serve best. You start with a clear target, not a blank page.
  • Audits that sell. Our analysts produce detailed pre-sale audits of a prospect's marketing and revenue performance. The findings are often what wins the deal, and they're yours to use.
  • Fast sales support. Proposals, case studies, and pitch materials turned around quickly by a team that treats your requests as a priority.
  • A product that differentiates. Revenue analytics give you a story competitors can't tell.
  • A delivery team built to retain. Senior strategists who are compensated to hold and grow the accounts you land, so your wins stick.
  • Your First 6 Months
  • Days 1 to 60: Absorb our ideal client profiles and pressure-test them against your network and the market. Take ownership of all inbound and outbound lead flow. Build your target account list.
  • By Month 3: Launch a documented sales process in HubSpot with defined stages, forecast cadence, and a proposal standard. Build the sales-to-delivery handoff with our strategist team. Define your first support hire and when you'll need it.
  • By Month 6: Reach $2.5M+ in sales-qualified pipeline (SQLs). Close at least one new client at $200K+ in first-year value.

Why Intellibright

Recognized by the Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Americas six years running. Profitable and self-funded for more than 16 years. A performance-focused agency built on accountability and close client partnerships.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a territory someone else built. It's for someone who wants to build the engine, own the number, and get paid for what they create.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in B2B sales, with at least 5 years selling agency or professional services at a senior level
  • A track record of personally originating and closing six-figure retainer relationships, with references to back it up
  • Experience selling performance marketing, analytics, or revenue-focused services to C-level buyers
  • Experience building and leading a sales team
  • Fluency in HubSpot or a comparable CRM and real belief in pipeline discipline
  • An existing network in mid-market and enterprise marketing leadership is a strong plus

How You Work

  • Enterprise origination. You create opportunities, not just convert them, with a network and a method for opening doors at companies investing $100K+ a year in agency services.
  • Multi-stakeholder selling. You navigate buying committees of CMOs, CFOs, and CEOs, and you sell revenue outcomes to finance, not just channel tactics to marketing.
  • Commercial judgment. You qualify hard, scope honestly, and walk away from deals that would be bad for the business.
  • System builder. You treat the CRM as the source of truth and build forecastable pipeline and a repeatable proposal process.
  • Team builder. You know what support a senior seller actually needs, and you hire it when volume justifies it.

Benefits

Compensation

  • $150,000 base salary
  • Up to $50,000 in Year 1 milestone bonuses: $25,000 for completing your 30/60/90-day plan and $25,000 for building $2.5M in sales-qualified pipeline in your first six months
  • Uncapped commission on first-year client value, with higher rates on larger accounts
  • Accelerators of 1.5x on every deal once you pass annual quota
  • Multi-year bonuses for two- and three-year client commitments
  • Annual bonus of up to $40,000 for exceeding quota with strong client retention
  • Target OTE ~$268,000. Strong years reach $325,000, and top performers earn $350,000+.

Benefits

  • 100% company-paid employee healthcare premiums, including medical, dental, vision, and life
  • Safe harbor 401(k) with up to a 4% company match, fully vested from day one
  • 28 days combined PTO and holidays, plus two additional remote work weeks annually
