Responsible for implementing and troubleshooting automation systems, electrical monitoring and control systems, devices, and communications systems while working under the guidance of an experienced team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Enrollment in or completion of a Certificate/Associate/Bachelor's program in a Technical Field, related to Engineering, or Control Systems or equivalent
Experience: None
Travel: Up to 75%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focuses on the deployment of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) at data center facilities.
- Responsibilities for this position include performing software installation, customization, and start-up services; start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power monitoring equipment, control devices, and communication systems
- Configures, troubleshoots, and commissioning of EPMS/BMS software and controls
- Documents the as-built system and providing commissioning results
- Knowledge of electrical fundamentals as well as with electrical equipment.
- Ability to technically troubleshoot network communications (IP Addresses and being able to find devices on a network).
- Desire to learn new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
