Job Description

Our Client Development Executive, Global Business plays a critical role in helping organizations solve complex workforce, compliance, and risk challenges while accelerating growth for Experian's Employer Services portfolio. You will build trusted, long-term partnerships with clients, driving value through insight-led conversations, thoughtful solution design, and disciplined execution across the full client lifecycle.

Your success means growing revenue responsibly, expanding meaningful client relationships, and delivering outcomes that matter to both clients and Experian.

About the Role:

As a Client Development Executive, you'll operate as a trusted advisor to mid-to-large organizations navigating complex employer services and compliance environments. You'll work closely with Relationship Management, Product, Legal, Client Success, and Operations teams to design and deliver solutions that meet client needs while advancing Experian's growth strategy.

You will are a sales professional who balances curiosity with commercial discipline, succeeds in dynamic environments, and values long-term relationship building as much as closing deals. You'll report to the Senior Director, Client Development and Global Enterprise.

What you'll be doing:

Sales & Business Development

  • Lead client facing‑ sales efforts for current clients and new logo prospects within an assigned territory.
  • Conduct discovery to understand client needs, challenges, and objectives; design and propose tailored solutions aligned to Experian Employer Services offerings.
  • Drive growth in assigned territory through cross-sell, new sell, and expansion strategies.
  • Oversee the end-to-end‑ sales cycle, including pipeline management, forecasting, deal strategy, and closing.
  • Use sales tools to support sales management.
  • Develop, and grow trusted advisor relationships with senior client executives and decision makers.

Product & Solution Expertise

  • Develop a master level‑ understanding of Experian Employer Services products and solutions,
  • Articulate the value proposition of Experian Employer Solutions to address complex compliance, risk mitigation, and operational challenges.

Contracting and Cross Functional‑ Collaboration

  • Lead contract renewals, negotiations for both current and new client prospects, and RFP responses through completion.
  • Partner with internal Experian teams, including Relationship Management, Product, Implementation, Client Success, Legal, and Operations—throughout the sales lifecycle to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communication or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three (3+) plus years of strategic or enterprise level sales experience.
  • Experience in consultative, strategic, or enterprise-level sales roles with measurable revenue impact.
  • Experience in engaging and influencing senior leaders, including VPs and C‑suite executives.
  • Experience selling Employer Services, HR compliance, or related B2B solutions or the ability to quickly build deep product expertise.
  • Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience presenting to clients, prospects, and team members.

Additional Considerations

  • Experience working with large, multi-location, or regulated organizations is helpful but not required.
  • Experience navigating matrixed or global organizations
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Tools/Software Requirements:

  • CRM & Sales Enablement: Salesforce (or similar CRM), forecasting and pipeline management tools
  • Productivity & Collaboration: Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), virtual meeting platforms

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
