The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. Roles & Responsibilities
- Providing strategic guidance and architecture oversight to ensure high software standards and adherence to best practices.
- Designing scalable, secure, and reliable systems tailored to meet the dynamic needs of the energy sector.
- Evaluating and selecting technologies to optimize software performance, scalability, and long-term innovation.
- Partnering with business leaders to translate complex challenges into effective technical requirements.
- Facilitating clear, cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and executive leadership.
- Driving continuous improvement in Maintenance and Product Backlog Management by monitoring KPIs and delivery commitments.
- Monitoring advancements in cloud computing and power systems to provide strategic guidance that maintains a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years in engineering leadership or NPI delivery, specifically within large-scale cloud development
- 5+ years of expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- 3+ years of experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies
Desired Characteristics
- Proficiency in data aggregation, analytics tools, and integrated ERP environments.
- Practical experience with IoT, real-time systems, and digital core systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Asset Health, maintenance, engineering processes, and operations within industrial settings (e.g., LNG, refining, petrochemical, or offshore assets) will be an added advantage.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaborative abilities, with a proven capacity to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
