As a Key Account Manager of the SCS team in North America, you will be an active contributor to the growth of orders and pipeline for the business focused on New Units market.

Job Description

As a Key Account Manager for the SCS team in North America, you will be responsible for driving orders, commitments, and overall account strategy for the New Units market, you will develop and execute customer engagement plans that strengthen GE Vernova's position as a trusted partner. You will cultivate executive and operationalize relationships both internally within GE Vernova & externally with direct customers, identify opportunities, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive controls solutions that support customer objectives, drive continued market success, and expand market penetration throughout your assigned market segment.

What you’ll do

  • Develop long term strategic plans by customer to drive market / customer penetration in support of Orders, Sales, Cash and Contribution Margin growth.
  • Maintain on-going customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Drive a sales pipeline on complex, multi-offering transactions that may include Parts, Lifecare Services, Turbine / Generator Upgrades, Digital Solutions and Long-Term Service / Parts Agreements.
  • Develop and maintain key Account Plans with detailed insights focused on Customer’s Strategy, Customer ESG Policies, Organizational Structures, Buying Behaviors, Outage and Opportunity Forecasts
  • Continuously monitor and drive the development of the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities.
  • Position of the Software & Controls solutions portfolio (DCS, EX, UC, Cyber, CLS and others), into all commercial opportunities available within the assigned market segment

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Technical Discipline from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Energy Industry
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management or Customer Service
  • Familiarity with the Heavy Duty and Aero New Unit business teams and deal structures

  • Understanding of the NAM energy market and trends
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of time.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $108,600.00 and $181,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
