Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while providing exceptional service and support.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Promote Beshert Steel Processing's products, capabilities, and value-added solutions.
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and secure customer orders.
  • Manage customer accounts through all stages of the sales process, from prospecting through order fulfillment.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales and Operations teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, opportunities, and sales activity within the CRM system.
  • Establish customer credit expectations and collaborate with internal teams as needed.
  • Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and claims in a professional and timely manner.
  • Attend sales meetings, product training, and other company-sponsored events.
  • Develop a strong understanding of steel products, processing capabilities, and industry applications.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer sites, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Support Inside Sales activities as needed and directed by management.
QualificationsRequired
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent sales experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to travel extensively within and beyond the assigned territory.
Preferred
  • Previous outside sales experience in steel, metals, manufacturing, industrial distribution, or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of steel products, metallurgy, processing methods, or mill capabilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Travel Requirements
  • Travel is required approximately 60%-75% of the time throughout the assigned territory.
  • Overnight travel may be required and can account for up to 50% of total travel.
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
