DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Analyze product and credit expansion proposals using internal performance data and external industry benchmark to quantify incremental credit and reputational risk. Articulate findings of analysis and trade-offs of policy recommendations to senior stakeholders for more informed decision-making and serve as a trusted partner. Develop and maintain strategy frameworks that integrate loss forecast, capital pricing, and historical performance to assess profitability and reputational risk exposure from credit expansion. Lead risk analytics process by rebalancing vintage curve by credits and purpose to measure the cycle impact. Identify risk insights from data, measure the impact to policy and strategy, and recommend actionable solutions. Diagnose drivers of portfolio performance anomaly, early payment default, and roll-rates across vintage and products. Research credit bureau and bank deposit data to identify consumer behavior to analyze the correlation between utilization, liquidity stress, and performance. Identify emerging risk trends and translate insights into strategy refinement recommendations. Extract, transform and analyze structured datasets using performance optimized queries, ensuring reconciliation across multiple upstream and downstream systems. Collaborate with cross-functional partners from Policy and Product to Finance and Capital Market to drive strategy developments, solving business challenges. Review and validate peer analytical work ensuring accuracy and alignment. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members for consistency and best practices among the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Math, Finance, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics, Consultant, Business Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Developing SAS codes for data processing, transformation, and statistical analysis; Utilizing Microsoft Excel for exploratory analysis and summarizing data including filtering, sorting, pivot tables, and advanced formulae including VLOOKUP and conditional logic; Developing executive level PowerPoint presentations with visualizations to communicate analytical findings. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Performing advanced data analytics including exploratory data analysis to understand data distributions, anomalies, evaluating relationship between variables, data cleaning and transformation, and feature engineering. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Developing SQL logic to analyze attributes across datasets using select, join, where, group by, and having clauses; Querying enterprise Data warehouses from platforms such as Teradata or Snowflake to analyze data lineage and warehouse schema relationships, validating completeness of data, retrieving large amounts of data, and building datasets supporting analytics.
