About the team and the role:

eBay’s Global Platforms organization is looking for a Technical Program Manager to help drive planning, coordination, and execution across critical platform initiatives. In this role, you will partner closely with Corporate Services, Information Security, Product Development, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex programs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both technical and business teams, leading programs from concept through development, testing, and implementation. The role is well suited for a detail-oriented program leader who can balance operational rigor with strategic thinking, influence technical decisions, and help teams deliver with confidence.

What you will accomplish:

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of cross-functional programs, ensuring requirements, designs, dependencies, testing, and implementation plans are aligned for successful execution.

  • Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Business, Policy, Information Security, and vendor teams to move initiatives forward efficiently.

  • Build and maintain core program management artifacts, including project plans, achievements, status updates, and execution tracking, to improve transparency and accountability.

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early, and lead efforts to resolve them so teams can deliver against roadmap commitments.

  • Support roadmap planning and estimation activities by helping teams size work, sequence priorities, and understand delivery impacts.

  • Communicate program status, decisions, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders, including senior leadership, and facilitate workshops that drive alignment and progress.

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in project or program management across the product lifecycle, with experience in business systems analysis preferred.

  • Ability to independently identify technical dependencies, assess potential impacts, and translate complexity into clear execution plans.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts, design considerations, and business requirements clearly to varied audiences.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams that include both technical partners, such as Product and Engineering, and non-technical partners, such as Business or Policy.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail while keeping broader business goals in view.

  • Experience in customer support or client-focused environments is a plus.
