VP Automation and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for leading strategy, design and implementation of next generation Assembly Technologies, Automation and Advanced, Innovative Manufacturing Processes.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Partner with Design Centers to build long-term Technology Roadmaps to introduce Advanced, Innovative Assembly Processes into Manufacturing Sites, enabling New Product Launch
- Set the long-term view on how Software, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence will improve Shop Floor Operations
- Lead Engineering, OT and Operations Teams to design and deploy Automated and Autonomous Systems
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain Teams to define a Global Standard Catalog of Automation Solutions and Integrators
- Works with Sales and Operations Teams to align Automation and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Projects with Business Objectives
- Define Standard Operating Procedures to ensure smooth transition from Design to Launch, so New Production Lines meet Time, Quality, Safety and Financial Metrics
- Define and Deploy Training Programs for Engineering Talent – both Automation and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related discipline.
- MBA is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 7+ years of management or supervisory experience.

- Requires excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and networking abilities.
- Effective interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate and influence for positive outcomes.

- Must understand P&L.
- Ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
